Your average Joe on the street could care 2 $hits about being "enlightened." They want to see change where the rubber hits the road.

Train- At the end of the day my friend you still remain the pitiful racist person that you are living that pathetic life that you lead. If this wasn't true you would have no need to be a racist now would you?(that's a rhetorical question no need to answer) You see Train you racists share the same bottom feeding trait. I say "some" or use other descriptive words to target a segment of the population.
Not all racists are White. In fact some of the most hateful racists are Blacks hating other Blacks or Latinos hating other Latinos. Asians have the same problem and even more so with the history behind them to really open up old wounds. No matter how you slice it though all of you racists no matter what color suffer from the same disease and you need to get help. Help can come from perhaps your spiritual counselor like a Priest or Minister. You can get psychological help through a health professional. You can also reach out in your own community to volunteer at programs aimed to help different people and maybe you can see the commonality in all people.
I have travelled all over this great country. I have been in lily White states like Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah and other places and have been treated very kindly. People are people and if you treat them with respect they will treat you respect. If you go looking for problems because you're the only White, Black or Brown face then people will sense your discomfort and play on that. I am comfortable in all environments. I have dated women of all colors and have been treated very well by their families. Does that mean I think everybody likes me? No I'm not naive, but if a person doesn't like me because of my skin color. That's not my problem. I know who I am and I am a proud, intelligent Black man. I was raised that way and I have taught my children the same. Just because I'm proud of who I am should in no way be a threat to anyone else. You should also be proud of who you are. When you like yourself you don't have time to hate any group for any reason but when you really don't like you that's where the problem starts.
When I hire people to work for my company I hire the people I feel are the best fit irregardless of their skin color. I'm looking for responsible people of character. That's how I roll and that's how I live my life. I'm not perfect I am far from it but one thing I do is stand up for what I think is right. I teach my 4 sons the same thing. My oldest son is a Sgt in the U.S. Marines. He has been to Afghanistan and Iraq. These fine young men and women fight for our country and when the enemy shoots those bullets don't say Black, White, Latin or Asian. They say American.
So in conclusion on this thread. I lay my hat on this country. All of it not some of it. If you don't like America or Americans you guys are free to go. As for me I'm staying here because in America we are either gonna come together or fall apart and for all you racists out here with your constant negativity complaining about somebody or something. All you guys ever do is project onto others that which you truly feel about yourself. If you notice in my posts I don't paint all White people with the same brush. I say "some" or use other descriptive words to target a segment of the population.
Not all racists are White. In fact some of the most hateful racists are Blacks hating other Blacks or Latinos hating other Latinos. Asians have the same problem and even more so with the history behind them to really open up old wounds. No matter how you slice it though all of you racists no matter what color suffer from the same disease and you need to get help. Help can come from perhaps your spiritual counselor like a Priest or Minister. You can get psychological help through a health professional. You can also reach out in your own community to volunteer at programs aimed to help different people and maybe you can see the commonality in all people.
I have travelled all over this great country. I have been in lily White states like Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah and other places and have been treated very kindly. People are people and if you treat them with respect they will treat you respect. If you go looking for problems because you're the only White, Black or Brown face then people will sense your discomfort and play on that. I am comfortable in all environments. I have dated women of all colors and have been treated very well by their families. Does that mean I think everybody likes me? No I'm not naive, but if a person doesn't like me because of my skin color. That's not my problem. I know who I am and I am a proud, intelligent Black man. I was raised that way and I have taught my children the same. Just because I'm proud of who I am should in no way be a threat to anyone else. You should also be proud of who you are. When you like yourself you don't have time to hate any group for any reason but when you really don't like you that's where the problem starts.
When I hire people to work for my company I hire the people I feel are the best fit irregardless of their skin color. I'm looking for responsible people of character. That's how I roll and that's how I live my life. I'm not perfect I am far from it but one thing I do is stand up for what I think is right. I teach my 4 sons the same thing. My oldest son is a Sgt in the U.S. Marines. He has been to Afghanistan and Iraq. These fine young men and women fight for our country and when the enemy shoots those bullets don't say Black, White, Latin or Asian. They say American.
So in conclusion on this thread. I lay my hat on this country. All of it not some of it. If you don't like America or Americans you guys are free to go. As for me I'm staying here because in America we are either gonna come together or fall apart and for all you racists out here with your constant negativity complaining about somebody or something. The Truth of the matter is there is 40 million Blacks in America,50 million Latinos, and 200 million Whites. If you have had a bad experience with 100 Black, Latino or White people you haven't even touched the surface of a fraction of the population. So to pass judgement on an entire section of a population based on you and your circle of friends limited and prejudicial experiences is pure insanity and that's why it's a sickness.
Now if any of you racists can't understand that point. I don't know what to tell you.
Here's another example and then I'm done for the night. Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia. They haven't liked each other for a long time. It wasn't racial in tone until Sergio made what most people felt were racist comments. Then the tone changed. Sergio knew he had crossed the line and I applaud him for being man enough to admit it and apologize for it. I wouldn't call Sergio a racist but he made a racist comment and took ownership of it.
A racist afflicted with the disease sees nothing wrong with what he said and in the face of sound reasoning would continue to make these types of statements. There is no difference between a racist making racist statements, or a drug addict taking a hit or a alcoholic taking another drink. They are all afflicted with a disease. It's a mental disorder. Please, so basically you're dismissing a subset within the set to prove your point. So if you're intelligent and a racist this doesn't follow. So what is the difference between what you're doing and what Slovak, Train, and many others are doing by saying they just don't like the criminal aspect of the black race? I haven't once heard them say I hate every black man there is. They're dismissing the class of black people that work their behind off and is not part of this criminal activity . So they dismiss this subset and usually only speak of the lower class yet their points aren't valid, because they are clearly racist in your eyes. You can't have it both ways.
As far as racism being unnatural that is simply the farthest from the truth you can get. People tend to gravitate towards their own throughout the history of time. They tend to believe their own group is superior to others. If you want to act like Scal and just play on the use of words. If not racist then at the very least it is natural to display prejudice, but then you can't call these people racist and once again you can't have it both ways.
