The Giants have caught fire and surprisingly find themselves one win away from the Superbowl. They have now won and covered six of their last seven games and have a chance to be the first team in NFL history to win 10 road games in a season. The Packers are also on a roll. On the season, they are 14-3 SU and 13-3 ATS. The Giants have surprised many with their play the past three weeks. They gave New England a run for their money in week 17, leading by two scores late in the game and they won two road playoff games. Green Bay was good early in the season, but they have gotten even better with the emergence of Ryan Grant in the backfield. Grant finshed the second half of the season as the #2 running back in the NFL, behind only LaDanian Tomlinson. The Cowboys offensive line opened big holes for Marion Barber against the Giant defensive line in the first half last week but New York turned it up in the second half and shut down the Cowboys' offense. This game will be very cold, with temperatures in the single digits and wind-chill below zero. But both teams are used to the cold and each can run the ball which is essential in weather like this. No one gave the Giants much of a chance the past two weeks and they have delivered upset wins. They are getting a touchdown in this one, but they are facing Brett Favre and the Packers at home in January. The road has proven to be hospitable for the Giants this season as they not only cover, but win, posting a 9-1 SU mark away from home. The Packers offense is a force, averaging 373 yards and 28.1 points per game, but New York is 13-3 ATS the past three seasons vs. teams averaging over 350 yards of offense per game. The Packers are 7-1 ATS at home this season and they are off a destruction of their last opponent. What will give here? Is Green Bay going to win by more than a touchdown, or will the Giants again slay a favored opponent?
