What you are implying is simple bigotry. You live in a highly concentrated area of blacks and therefore you align any crime with not only the blacks in Philly, but blacks in general.

How many jobs are their in Philly, a very dense population per square mile, for the population at hand?

Your comments are always and will always be aligned with poverty and idleness due to lack of jobs, poor schools, terrorist police forces bearing down on one segment of the population etc. and on and on.

But when you said your gun suits your purposes, it is quite clear we won't have a conversation about that, as had been the case with virtually everyone else on this board.

Pop Richard Simmons' 'Sweating' to the Oldies' into your VCR for a cardiovascular kick so you'll have a little extra pep in your step when need be, which in your mind, is every place beyond your bed covers (and even under there most likely). But not if you move to the Hamptons of course...

Take a trip to Guadalajara and see some of the finest blonde haired Mexican women you will ever see. 

Have you ever heard of Black Mexicans? They exist. Check out Vera Cruz or some of the Northern states of Mexico. You see when you take the ignorance out and put education in then you can see there is no room for BS like racism. Get educated, travel. see the world and quit all the dumb s***. We're all human and we come from Planet Earth. Be proud of who you are but be respectful of others people's culture. 

Attempting to get the bigots on this site to read, understand and apply a post like this to their lives is like trying to sell the latest issue of Hustler to a 95 year old nun.

I can assure you, my state of mind about race in America is far more valuable than some coins Slovak would put in his car ashtray and forget about.

This might be the funniest thing I've ever seen on covers. What tangible things of any value have you done to advance race relations in America?

The understanding and insight I have into the crap I took this morning is more valuable than the $3 worth of tokens slovak gave that guy.......I can assure you that.  But as of yet, I still haven't figured out how that translates into value to America or turds everywhere as a whole.

I grew up overseas on a military base, moved to the states for college and have been here ever since.  So my experiences as a youngster is probably much different than most of the covers community.  In Japan, or in Asia, racism is more or less of other asians from a neighboring or rival country.  Koreans/Chinese hate the Japanese (generally speaking, very loose generalization here) ... mostly because of the atrocities committed by the Imperial Japanese Army/Navy during World War 2.  The animosity and hate between the peoples of these countries is unfortunate, but is very real ... on par with the racism here in the U.S.  I usually stay away from these topics on covers cause I'm often conflicted with the way I feel about other races ... I'm not really sure what I am ... and sometimes I feel maybe I am racist ... I'll give you an example ... when I lived in Los Angeles I used to go Hollywood Park to play poker.  Well Hollywood Park is right in middle of Inglewood and when I leave ... in my head I'm thinking "don't stop for anything or anybody, just get the hell out of this part of town cause it's super freaking dangerous."  Am I racist for thinking this way?  I don't wanna get robbed, I'm thinking about my safety, you take one look at me and you'll know Inglewood isn't my bario ... so is this racism? Maybe it is, it's not something to be proud of ... but walking through Inglewood in middle of the night thinking nothing will happen to me cause the world is fine and dandy and full of nice people will only get me killed.

Cave-I lived in LA for 9 years. Although the Forum area isn't the best of places it's hardly in the top 100 of dangerous neighborhoods in LA. You could drive further south and hit Hawthorne and have a better chance of finding more drama than in that particular area of Inglewood. Also keep in mind the forum is located on a main st. Mainchester if memory serves me correctly. Manchester is hardly a bastion of crime especially the Western part. So to answer your question. I wouldn't say that you're racist I would say that you were scared because you believed the hype that just because that area is predominately Black/Latino you were in danger.

The reality is and was that you were only a victim of your own mind and that you were perfectly safe. Did anything ever happen to you? Did  you ever see anything happen? Did you hear any news stories about any crime in that immediate area? I doubt it because just because you hear about crime in Inglewood doesn't mean it happened near the forum.

The neighborhood that Dodger stadium is in is far more dangerous than that area and so is the neighborhood that the Coliseum is in. How about the Sports Arena where the Clippers played before Staples Center opened. All of those areas are way more dangerous than where the Forum is located. This is why I say racism stems from ignorance of not knowing or being unfamiliar and people then take it as the reality that they have created in their own head.

It may just be a message board but I can assure you that when heads hit pillows every night, people will eventually know who they truly are, and good lord is it disgusting when it's given some thought.

Yeah, I'd say that's worth more than some water and soap spritzed on your car, especially when the coins come from the greasy palm that gives you $3 in one hour, and then the next hour when you're far away tries to shame your whole race.

Find me the nearest sewer grate for those coins...

See Scal you think you're exposing bigots and maybe that lies the problem. All you are doing is pissing people off plain and simple. So do you think these people you are "exposing" are changing anything in their daily lives? F*ck no they aren't it's business as usual I can guarantee it. If anything you are reaffirming their beliefs and what does that help any? So next time they watch the news and see a household shot up by gangbangers they're going to see the negative and ignore the positive parts pertaining to the race. They're not going to see the black fireman saving a little kid from a freezing lake, they're going to see Travyon playing with guns and beating down some neighborhood watch guy. 

 Why do you think everyone thinks Mr. Sharpton and the people like him are viewed in such a negative manner, because he has morons by the masses following him and his negative tones. Do you think people saw MLK the same way no because he wasn't a pompous a*shole crying about everything. he gave a positive tone and tried to move forward instead of dwelling on the past. That's what the black race needs today is someone positive to step up like MLK to make a positive change and then maybe this can stop. So why not focus on the positive for once in you're god damn life and then maybe you will be doing something for these issues instead of provoking people to make it remain the same.

I disagree with your assessment of the dangers of Los Angeles ... regarding what areas are way more dangerous than another and etc.  Regarding has anything happened to me?  Only in the casino, or the card room.  Any crime in the immediate area?  Yes, all the time.  Well this was in the 90's ... so I can't tell you how it is now or when you were there.  Regardless, my point is about racism and how I view myself as a racist or not.  Thatz all.

On a quick note ... I don't think or I don't feel I am a racist.  But my point is maybe I am by MY ACTIONS.  We're all hypocrites to some degree, whether we like it or not.  I want to think I'm not a racist but sometimes my actions may lead to another conclusion, which is quite unfortunate.

I've talked to more lower income minorities in the last 6 months than Scal has in all his life.  They make up half of our current employees and have since we started our business 13 years ago. 

Your average Joe on the street could care 2 $hits about being "enlightened."  They want to see change where the rubber hits the road.  

But I'm sure Scal will continue to try and "enlighten" people on a gambling forum......pretty much people that are about the most stubborn there are.  

He picked a fine place to affect change, that's for sure.
