It's going to be AWESOME when Bama wins in the National Title game and everyone really flips out.
I said it 2 weeks ago...if Bama doesnt convincingly beat LSU, with LSU's amazing schedule this year and how convincingly they beat everyone on it (except the Tide in Bama) I see the AP poll giving a split National Title. Remember all it will take is for 1 more voter to to rank LSU #1 and Bama #2 for LSU to claim a share.
The AP split apart from the BCS for a reason and if there were ever a reason to split the title....this is the year. 2 teams that have would have played each other to a 1-1 tie. It can happen, but it will be a moot point...LSU wins in the rematch

lsu can lose to georgia and they will still be in the bcs national title game, lsu wont do it on purpose cause they dont want to get scared. but if you do the math, if lsu loses to georgia and especialy if its a close game, they not gonna drop more than 1 spot in human eliment, if anything it will end 1 bama 2 lsu. hard to believe okie st who is 3rd in bcs standings can catch bama or lsu, even if lsu loses. considering that okie st is ranked 5th in the 2 human polls, and only the bcs computer poll considers okie st 3rd, and stanford and va tech are ahead of okie st in human polls. so as long as va tech beats clemson, i dont see how okies t can leapfrog anyone except maybe stanford

Thats incorrect. Their is a loophole to allow 3 teams from 1 conference to play in the BCS bowls. If the #1 and #2 teams in the BCS rankings do not win their conference title play for the National Championship the conference champ is the automatic qaulifyer from the conference. In this case UGA goes to the Sugar Bowl...LSU/Alabama in the Title game

who cares this is a stupid post, all vegas cares about is bcs national champion, if you bet futures that what the odds are for, not for the ap poll, or who is pretty on field or anything. also maybe you didnt watch the lsu bama game, but if lsu doesnt get an int on bama 1 yard line bama wins that game. everyone talks about the 4 missed fgs, but nobody remembers about 1 of the best int all season????????

After reading through this I still don't understand the logic. LSU barely squeeks by Bama in the regular season so when they end up playing for the national championship game you have it LSU is basically just showing up for courtesy, because they beat them by a field goal in the regular season? That's absolutely insane. Or is this more of a way to line up your excuses for the high possibility that LSU will lose this game?

You're obviously an LSU fan, but even so you can't possibly believe that. I hate both, hell the whole SEC I hate but I think bama is definitely the closest you will get to being a good game. You take that logic to any other sport it even makes it more insane. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, but this will be the best chance for an actual good game being played for the championship. Everyone else would get killed by LSU.
