People are giving you opinions and you are brushing them off.  Why even start the thread then???
 
If you think past years dont matter so be it.  I will tell you this that the Sox have had a losing record against Minn for about 10 years in a row im guessing.  And, when I say losing record, its a losing record.  I dont care to look it up, because obviously you dont care, but for about 3-4 years straight we probably lost 15 out of 20 games to them every year
 
Dont start a thread and ask am i missing something, if everytime someone posts a comment you blow it off
 
Im guessing I know much more about this White Sox team and the Sox/Twin results than you do seeing you posted they are 2-1 against them this year
 
With all the games going on tomorrow..I see no reason what so ever to make a wager on this game, let alone the Sox

I think its a great line considering the pitching match ups... I'm totally digging Peavy... Sox would have to be the pick.

yes heres what your missing.....

Liriano has been one of the hottest pitchers over the last 30 days, slotting in betweenLance Lynn and Zack Greinke at sixth in the MLB in K/9 over that time period (10.6). In that time frame, Liriano has allowed only one home run, and has been worth exactly one win to the Twins. He gets the White Sox — whom he no-hit last season. Oddly enough, the White Sox’ line against lefties is nearly 20 points worse than its overall line

what's funny though is that everyone has there own opinions, but to me this game is the best play, I don't want the bullpens to decide this one so I'm going Peavy ML 1st 5 and the Under for 5 innings.  There's a good chance sox will have a 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, or 3-0 lead after 5 and even if it's tied and under 5 I'll win as well, and I see no way this will be over 4 after 5 with Minnesota winning, if it does I will take a 2 week break from gambling. I have been on a tear lately up so I do feel good about this one.

something I just noticed is that Peavy's close friend/former coach just passed away from cancer.... I hope he can keep his emotion's in check on the mound but I'm still sticking with my picks, maybe a no hitter will be in the making

Stats???  What kind of stats are you looking for besides they have only played 3 games against each other this year???

I know little of you, but get a good idea of you from the posters above.  Seems you are not well liked.

"Stats".  Like Chicago is such and such in the past 7 years against Minnesota, or Chicago has gone such and such in Minnesota in the past so many years.  Not just "Sox can't beat Minny".

I'll probably stay away because of it.  Don't like such a big swing.  Found a few better plays I like.  Cards TT over 4.5 and Texas -1.

I told ya guys there was no way this one was going up.

I think the current line of -108 White Sox is a little low. So expect some White Sox buyback before first pitch. I had this one pegged at -115 for Chicago and I still think that's the appropriate line.

Yeah, good point.  2 people in the thread with 100 posts have made a comment about me because of my basketball thread

I guess you dont follow my baseball picks on here, 6 weeks in a row of plus +5 units

I dont know baseball, or the White Sox

I didn't want to bring that up because everyone is still mourning over Akerfeld.  He deserves the respect though. He had a huge impact on Peavy's career and Peavy will be fired up to pay his dues .

CWS better team, Better pitcher on the bump.  Peavy will hold his own, just need the run supports which I think they can do vs. Liriano 2nite. (Lefty or not)

Public is heavy on Chicago and right now the line is a Toss up.   Minny has only won 3/11 of Lirianos starts but he's improved a lot the last month.   I like the Twins in this spot to grab the series opener.

actually, liriano hasn't been that bad lately. as a twins' fans in 2000s, sox had been 100% joke to twins. leaning twins, but this game is like a 'must-stay-away game' to me. UNDER can be decent, maybe.
