Don't worry about it or ignore it then, Tony... I appreciate the kind words. I'm not here to make enemies, but I've invested too much time and energy into this board over the years to let deception and dishonesty occur without saying something.

For starters I would like to start out by saying that although I am a novice to covers, over the past few weeks I've gone thru all the forums and viewed some of the more reputable cappers, and to be quite honest, all the banter about how Tin and his clan manage their forum feeds is beyond ridiculous. I've seen complaints about how emotional Tin is and how his record is questionable yet my question to people like kapono and milkado ( 2 reputable cappers themselves) is "why do care so much to go on complaining for days on end?", what people do with their money is their choice. If they feel like tin, humble and bean do a good job and want to tail them then that's their choice. Also wouldn't you get somewhat defensive if people were always challenging you even tho all your trying to do is share information??? I see that people also complain how Tins pages are 20+ pages yet only a few picks are made but people like Kapono make these threads longer by stirring up troubles, if you think Tin is full of it, then don't click on his link, simple as that....at the end of the day covers is a resource for cappers to share thoughts and banter it's not a witch hunt...

I think it's been answered (at least on my behalf) why I care. I don't like dishonesty and deception in the posting of records on this site. If you are gonna post a record, you should be accurate. Tin has a history of changing unit amounts or "forgetting" about losses. It's been pointed out on multiple occasions. I don't like people who are potentially naive to get hoodwinked.

I wouldn't get defensive in any way because (1) I always post legitimate lines that can be found at 5dimes and (2) I always am correct in my record posting and units tabulation. Tin isn't here to share information either, he just posts picks and that's it. I haven't seen Tin break down any one game or give analysis on any of his plays or anything. He's here to promote Tin, and that's goal #1 for him it sure seems like -- at least, what are we supposed to conclude given his long noted history of record fudging?

Kap, while I understand your stance, at the end of the day if people are going to blindly follow cappers on covers than they deserve what they put in.. As I've stated before , I only use covers as a reference , to see what other cappers are thinking, (I've browsed your page as well)... If tin is dishonest, then the people who tail him will eventually get theirs, but I think that it's time to just move on from all this... I place wagers to avoid parts of my life that are oversaturated with people whining and complaining all day, and it'd be a shame if covers becomes that...

I understand your position as well, dt, but I've heard and seen some sad stories of people tailing under the expectation that someone's record is legitimate when it is not. Let's not act like all of us here have complete control over our gambling tendencies. We know that's not the case and its naive to think so if one does. I guess I'm not as harsh as you that anyone who is deceived by a poster deserves whatever they get.

Don't we have a duty as a community to ensure that those of us who are our most vulnerable -- i.e. people who would tail -- don't get taken advantage of?

I believe I've already answered that question in here already, but I'll reiterate my answer and break it down for you all:

People who are new to this site would be attracted to this thread being at the top and getting a high view count - so naturally they will gravitate towards this thread to see what it is about.

However the problem comes with the way he posts as Kapono stated above. The number of picks a day is absurd and his numbers are consistently false and inaccurate. Does it not bother you that Tin changed the Wolves from a 10 unit play Post #242 to a 5 unit play Post #339 after the game started?

I don't mind if some of you don't have time on your own to cap and are looking for other's picks; but do you want to listen and take advise from a cheater?

That's the type of deception I am talking about. I have no idea how anyone can possibly defend that. That cannot be chalked up to an "innocent mistake", that was blatant dishonesty, manipulation, and deception.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that was a mistake.

Notice how in the 2nd post is in quotes. You would assume he had quoted that and just brought it back up on that page for a status update on his plays or something. However the problem is: he corrected and altered his previous quote to make others think that was his original play.

Exactly, Mikado.... how that is possibly defensible under any justification, I will never know.

How much you want to bet that if I go back through tin's posts for, say, the last week, I'll find at least 2-3 instances where he does that?

I definitely understand both your positions, the premise of my post is to move on from this, I personally have viewed tins plays and I while it's only a 2 week sampling , I do not see anything wrong with what he does. And kap, I'm not that harsh, I'm just a realist. The world is a coloring book and some people do color outside the lines, obviously you and others feel that tin is dishonest in his practices, I say let him be and continue doing your own thing.

kap..mikado, dont you think then if he really is deceptive and fudges lines and units..people that really follow would find out(mainly through the wallet) that there is something wrong or deceptive about these guys? cmon...u guys actualy cvare about the noobie checking out threads and getting hoodwinked? im sure if they get hoodwinked they will move on and learn to follow without putting money on to see a track record.

ive watched these guys for a while now....and i didnt put one dime on a play they had( unless i liked it myself) and the things you guys are bickering about are nonsense. i now follow and do throw down lots of cash...1000 a game is alot for me... andi am not down and they have not decieved or changed picks or whatever. as far as the posted units..i dont even look at that..an experienced bettor will worry about his roll..not anyone elses.

wish we could move on or take this to your guys thread..im sure you wouldnt mind. gl ryno
