what do you think about christie? seems like kind of a no nonsense guy who might let at least some of the bullshit go and try to focus on some of the important stuff. that's about the best thing i can say about a politician these days. of course, that probably disqualifies him from republican consideration. but i only know of him from periodic media stories so that's not reliable. any opinion about him?

seems alright, don't know a lot about him yet so its hard to nail down an opinion, heard he was pretty conservative socially but doesn't seem to scream about it like most, I can work with that...
does appear to maybe be the only politician in America willing to work across the aisle, thats a plus
I remember him ripping the crooked NJ teachers union a new one a few years back, kinda liked that too, which made him some enemies but it looks like he was on to something as they just signed a new contract that both sides appear to like.
frankly its just hard to get excited about any politician anymore, i'm pretty disillusioned with the whole process to be honest...
freak shows on both sides of the aisle and its makes me want to tune out...

I want to live in 5th grade reading comprehension land where this:
I'm just repeating what elected Democrats and people like Mayor Bloomberg tell me, which is the police are trained professionals.
Equals this:
He should find a quote from a New York mayor about police being responsible and use that to show that he was somehow responsible for the fact that the police in LA shot an innocent bystander.
Really, it must be fun.
Note: that the 1st quote above was in response to a debated point on whether or not police should be referred to as "trained professionals" with their weapons.
But hey, why engage factually and in good faith when you can go all partisan hackery and outright lie?
Two posts devoted to this. Woohoo.
If what you are saying is true, you pointed out a mayor who is 3000 miles away from LA., who called police 'trained professionals' and somehow, this is a basis to note vote Democrat (that is what you said to the poster).
Let's put it this way... there are probably hundreds of politicians. Dem or Repub who have called police "trained professionals" and they have zero to do with what happened in LA.

No no no. Don't you see? Unless you blame Obama for the LA killer
Except nobody blamed Obama for the cop killer in LA.
Nowhere, at all.
So why can't you make a post here without lying?
I attacked Ron Paul last week, so I am clearly objective.
Notice that you have an unblemished record of zero attacks on Democrats. Yet you demand "objectivity" when you're a partisan and in fact it is obvious you're a partisan.
Want to guess why that is?
Its true. I have never blamed a politican for things like murders, blackouts, etc. I have however, been a pretty unabashed supporter of both Bush I and II (whom I voted for twice) and discussed how the Reagan foreign policy (often called the Haig Doctrine) was foreign policy genius, as well as professed my presidential support for Huntsman and my dislike for Perosi.
I do commend you, however, that in over 10000 posts, you have two were you were critical of Republicans (Kyle and Paul).

here's an example of what i was talking about. basically, if you want an example of corruption in liberal local politics, you can probably just check the local paper in atlanta, new orleans, LA, detroit or chicago and pull up a winner.
this is from atlanta today, i believe. there is so much of this garbage, i don't find them, they always find me.

i do sometimes. i've posted anti-obama stuff and other crazy garbage the liberals do. i want to be a republican. i like the idea of fiscal conservative policies and small government staying out of people's business except when necessary. unfortunately the republicans are the exact opposite of that these days. and if it was just that, i wouldn't post much. but the rightwing has gone so far off the fuckin deep end with hating every group that isn't a rich white male and being so fuckin batshit crazy, i feel compelled to post this stuff because it's just so fuckin crazy. it's almost like i need to post it to make sure i'm actually seeing these things, kind of like i need someone who's not equally crazy to pinch me because i think i'm having a nightmare in christian talibanland
So in other words, you only look for stories that show Republicans are "crazy"
Good to know.

i only look for stories showing politicians are not just crazy but over the top fuckin crazy. they just primarily happen to be stories about republicans.

nah... he is more about religion then anything... but nice try...
but what he does seems better then taking a neutral event and trying to come up with some psychotic delusional theory and obama and company is to blame... then wait for the rest of the union members to join the meeting...
