I hate the Celtics to death, but I think they come out as a winner tomorrow night.

Seems too easy with Heat -1, but then again noone knows what could happen with 2 of the top 5 players in the league, and one of the better big men!

Celtics pk!  1 Unit. Gonna bet on the complete team as apposed to the 3 players that are surrounded by guys who will not probably not touch the ball too often!  Mainly just want to have action on the game after having to listen to all the hype, especially the celebration the douchebags put on in south beach like they won something already! Excited as all hell for the season to start!!

I think Bosh and LeBron will be ready but that's such a patched together team, you gotta' imagine they'll need some time to figure out how to play together.

And you've got the prideful, completely healthy (for the first time in a while) team-first oriented Celtics - at home - against the hype-machine.

And it's the first game out, so there's bound to be some rust.

I agree with the Celtics and Under backers.

That's weird because everyone on the Celtics took a pay cut too (except for KG who can't due to the CBA). Pierce re-worked his contract, Allen took a huge paycut by resigning ( 2year 20 mil), Shaq making vet minimum and J.O. got the mid-level excemption, And last time I checked they were playing for the love of basketball too. It's not like they're playing for paychecks anymore.

You also have to take into account that Miami's big 3 have only played 3 minutes together this preseason. With the amount of new players Miami has it's going to take time for them to get in sync with one another. And Carlos Arroyo (Chalmers is out for this game) trying to guard Rondo might be the biggest mismatch in this game.

Not trying to talk you out of your bet just didn't think your reasoning made any sense because what you said for the Heat can also be said about Boston.
