Even if they lost all 5 of those games, they would have to lose to 4 mediocre more teams...and that would still be 7-9. Bottom line, aslong as they don't start out 0-5..or lose all 5 of those games mentioned above, they will go over.

...Did I mention Miami had one of the best run defenses in the NFL last year, and have improved their front 7 vastly. They also have 2 more receivers on the roster this year that are better than anyone they had last year...but yeah, this is a 6-10 team

Hey OP...it's cool that you think the Ravens are not gonna win many games.  But how are the Ravens clearly on decline?  What's clear is that Joe Flacco is coming into his own under a new offensive coordinator.  What's clear is that an old defense from last year is rejuvenated with key free agent pick ups and draft picks.  It's clear that Ray Rice will in all likelihood have a productive year, with a good up and coming running back behind him in Pierce.  I'm not saying they'll win 10+ games, they may have a down year as it may happen with any team on any year, but it's certainly not because they're "clearly declining".  Management and Ozzie is too good to let them clearly decline.  They don't go for one year super bowls, they put a contending product on the field year in and year out.

Good luck predicting all the invariables that are woven through an NFL season or NCAA for that matter

Would love to see/know all your preseason wagers and predictions for these football teams BEFORE the season starts  Look back at all your preseason wagers for these wagers and I would say you would be lucky to break even 

personally, I love your enthusiasm for the upcoming football year but NOBODY has much of a clue to what might transpire albeit ALL the things that might go down this offseason

I,  for one, after Rangers preseason dismal performance(MLB BB) and all the ex-key contributers departure, were headed towards a poor year, now have the BEST record in AL WTF?   

 

It is so very very hard to predict how teams seasons will unfold  Good luck with all your forecasts  Just sayin........

I agree with you on the Ravens.

The Ravens were a weak statistical team in the regular season, when such teams go on to win the SB there is a strong history of not making the playoffs the next season.

Only the 2007 Giants would make the playoffs the following season, 4 others failed including the 2011 Giants.

Then they lose a number of players because of Flacco's big contract and I can't see this team making the playoffs this season, they should be thankful Clev plays in the same division because that's will keep them out of the basement.

I also agree with you on Colts having a big regression to the mean and falling back

Also Falcons falling back to about 10 wins.

Also agree about Seattle having the best record or one of the top 2 best records in the league and winning the division.

i got the rams taking a nice step forward this season, got them a little closer than most people to sf and seattle in the nfc west.
