5-11 yesterday

awful day yesterday. i didnt even flinch at the long beach loss...sometimes you just feel those coming. a ton of bad breaks on the day, but also just some dumb plays. whatever, it happens

just one bet for me tomorrow, but it's a big one:

Vanderbilt / Michigan State ML parlay

 2nd biggest bet of february for me. good luck all

I would but they scare me on the road...  Any thoughts on Loy Md - seems like a good ML play?

UT --- ive noticed you play a lot of ML parlays...i'm starting to move in that direction....lines are sharp as shit right now and i keep getting ripped on the 4/5/6 point favorites...parlays have been bailing me out lately

eh...yeah i think it's probably safe...i just love the other 2 more and am happy with an even payout....plus i'd rather kill myself than watch this game...big 10 hoops suck other than OSU & MSU..haha

You are correct - I don't have a great feel for the basketball spread.  Won 2 nice ML parlays today:

Fresno+Cal+Creighton+Pepperdine
Penn+UCF+Harvard

yeah i like that too. AEC's a joke. BU beat #141 Delaware and #140 Stony Brook (both at home). I don't even know if you'd call those wins respectable...and other than that they haven't done a damn thing. Those are the only kenpom top 200 wins they have. they're pretty mild in all stat categories...dont really present any threat or mismatch for loyola whatsoever...they had a tough non-conference schedule but didn't even stay competitive and 1 of the games vs good teams

and what a dreadful loss for loyola on wednesday. i have no idea how that happened. guessing they were thinking they were in cruise control until the manhattan game and didnt take it seriously. and now they're on a 2 game skid...that fairfield game was just a letdown after the iona win, nothing more...they're nice at home this year 9-2, shouldn't have any trouble winning this straight up. i'd lean the points though if i picked a side

You wouldn't feel comfortable adding them to your ML parlay?

very nice. got a scare there out of creighton, pepperdine, and upenn, eh? i also took UCF in a small parlay....way too big and physical for east carolina...good call...i noticed you had some good ones this past week

ive pretty much been finding one line that's between 4-6 points and then just pooling it with two safer ones in the 8-10 range....i had marshall/mizzou/detroit today and iona/iupui/colorado....dont play more than 4 myself...just feel like there's so much risk once i get past 3

I gotta thank CBS projections - they are usually spot on with most of their late games.  You should hit big with Sunday's parlay.

nah, im not going to. i'm going to get a 1:1 payout on the vandy/msu combo, and i'm perfectly happy with that. so i just dont wanna add more risk unless it's going to really improve the payout and i feel really confident about it. i think loyola wins but just dont want to bother adding more teams. id feel better just making that separate with indiana or something....just feel really good about vandy and MSU, don't want to throw an unnecessary wrench into the play (unless it's syracuse)

im pretty skeptical of ATS numbers, but this i can't ignore:

Stanford is 20-1 SU & 15-5-1 ATS at home vs Oregon, including 15-0 SU & 13-2 ATS when Oregon is .501 or greater

I totally agree, I may have 2 ncaa cards.

Card 1: cuse/vandy/msu
Card 2: loy md/ind/tn state +5
Card 3:  NBA in progress - maybe 3 dogs

there ya go UT. might be a good ML for you. Stanford's nice at home this year 13-2, oregon's struggled on the road and is coming off a bad loss to cal, in the middle of back-to-back-to-back road games...

oh, and big revenge factor

iowa wins vs indy at buzzer is my call... also i have this bad feeling a bout sparty tomorrow.. idk why but feel its way too easy of a play and purdue squeaks out some bullshit.. remember when MICH ST lost to a shit ILLINOIS team on the road..and only scored 41 points..welll i do, i was there. Purdue will be rocking and i think taking the home doggy is the right call in this game.

Iowa is a good team but they're young and don't play well on the road. Their road record and road ATS record both reflect this.

That is 99% the only thing I play. On a day like Saturday (where there is so any games), I play 3-5 ml parlays, almost always home teams and look for at least a -110 or better. Most of the ones I play will be at in the range of +110 to +150. Occassionally I will mix in a home dog or away team (ml) that I feel really good about
