the only problem with getting a 4g phone at the moment is the coverage. if you are in an area with good 4g coverage that would probably be the way to go but if not then it will drain your battery fast searching for it. hope that helps. fwiw i love my iphone 4s...fast browsing even without 4g and battery lasts all day even though im on it ALL THE TIME

I know a lot of people who when from Android to iPhone, and they all love the iPhone way better.   I don&#x27;t know anyone who went from an iPhone to Android and liked it better.    Also, the fact with 4G is that it kills the battery.  A lot of people with 4G phones turn off the 4G function because of the huge battery drain.   Plus, Apple customer service is the best.

I&#x27;ve had my Droid for awhile now. It was allright at first. I think the whole android market and some of their phones just feel cheap to me. I bought my wife and son the iPhone 4s the day it came out, and in my opinion blows just about everything Android away. The Nexus is allright, but everything just seems smoother on the iPhone.I was using his phone at Outback last week and couldn&#x27;t believe how much faster it was than mine. The 4g LTE that iPhone doesen&#x27;t have is nice, but it&#x27;s a little overrated right now. Like buckeyefan said it will eat your battery to death. Everyone on here will say I&#x27;m crazy, but the iPhone is what I would go with. The only thing is the iPhone 5 will probably be released sometime in the fall, and that will blow everything out of the water.

smart phones are great. i work for t-mobile (developmnent not sales) and our network is great. the galaxy by samsung is an excellent phone. it rivals the iphone and most who i speak to say its better and fater. its up to you. apple has great marketing and the iphone because of that has become iconic.

the samsung galaxy s2 is offered by most carriers, great choice. on the t-mobile network, cant beat it. HSPA speeds 42mbs is lightning fast.

the iphone is offered now through verizon, great choice.

that will be on LTE, the other galaxy S 2 phones from att are on HSPA., LTE is much faster

and the reason why i ask is cause verizon on 2/10 is going to offer their double data deal. You can also purchase a droid and get one free....i think the 4gb is offered at the 2 gb price

The choice is only iPhone 4s vs Samsung Galaxy S2.

iPhone 4s has slightly better battery life (depending on tweaks, what you use most often, etc - but it's an accurate generalisation), and a slightly better resolution; Galaxy S2 has a bigger screen.

Apart from this there's really not much to separate the devices.

The question is really - are you a power user or not. Do you want to be able to customise your phone however you want, do you want to use flash for things like sports streaming, etc. If the answer is yes you should go S2, if not the sleek "everything just works" nature of the iPhone 4s is probably a better choice.

Personally I still live in the iPhone 4 world, but my phone is increasingly where I do most of my internet activity so it's important for my phone to more closely replicate my computer experience - this means for my next upgrade I'm probably going to move to a Android phone (probably the next-gen Samsung) - but I am waiting for proper LTE support, better battery life, etc.

Get the Samsung Galaxy S II for sure. If you are an apple Geek obviously get the iPhone...but I stay away from apple except for the ipods. I highly suggest the Samsung Galaxy S II though.
