Could this finally be the year that Nevada finally beats a top tier team out of conference?  They&#x27;ve got all the pieces in place to do it, Heisman  candidate at QB and veteran defensive players. At home and Cal and the over rated Pac 10 hasn&#x27;t shown over the years to be reliable on the road.  Who knows, but the only way I can bet this game is on the home dog.  Either a no play or Wolfpack for me.  BOL

heres a team that got smoked by SMU in the bowl game and have gotten crushed by their last 4 against BCS opponents .

Those aren&#x27;t their last four BCS opponents, but point taken.  They played a decent game vs Missouri LY and Tx Tech the year before.  This line smells funny to me.  It&#x27;s either NV or a no play.

This game has my head spinning. Cal is such a public play with 77% of covers already on them. They are also playing a night game during the week. The line was also set to draw in the public at -2. These three things automatically make it a no play in my opinion. Cal also got trashed last year in their bowl game by a physical running team in Utah. Nevada loves to run the ball and the pistol offense is very hard to stop once it gets rolling.

Nevada has really struggled vs good D1 teams the last few years. However, they had Missouri on the ropes last year until they fumbled in the redzone. Nevada is also a veteran team and their defense looks better this year. I want to play Nevada but I will most likely stay away.

Nevada&#x27;s coach is a dumbass.  SMU beat this same team in their bowl game last year and SMU barely made a bowl.  Nevada tends to choke against the big boys.  Strong lean to the bigger, faster, and better coached players....Cal Bears.

bigger and faster???? come on now Cal hasnt had to stop anyone with a remotely decent run game. Nevadas front line is giant and they should dominate up front.

FWIW, the my local casino ticket writer said hes taken well over 200+ cal bets and only 2 nevada bets. Usually, everyone and their mom bets on Nevada here in Reno. Cal could easily win this, but this has the makings for a bloodbath

Nevada has two receivers at 6-3 and one at 6-1, it should be a good one to watch if Cal wants to man up to stop the run as their DB&#x27;s both stand at 6-1.

Since coach Chris Ault returned to the sidelines in 2004, the Wolf Pack is 2-18 against BCS schools, Boise State and its bowl game competition. Nevada has been outscored by an average of 43-23 in those games.

The only wins were against big bad Central Florida and Northwestern.

They&#x27;ve lost to every decent team they&#x27;ve played and they&#x27;ve blown the shitty teams the fuck out.  That&#x27;s why this line is low.  People get excited when a team puts up 65 points even if it&#x27;s against pathetic competition.  They&#x27;re playing a good team tonight.
