I said that in the no-hitter thread. Great moment. Actually gave me chills. However...once he got on the mic, he was all cocky again. However...A-Rod's perfect game would be the best in the history of baseball...being a 3rd baseman and all.

So Arod would not have been all about himself after he hit 4 homers in a game? Arod has proven over and over again that he is all about himself.....Is Arod a great player? Yes he is.... Now Jeter on the other hand would have known how to act.

See that you're a Yankee fan...you could see it my way. If it was Joe Mauer that did what A-Rod did by walking over Braden's mound. And Braden called out Joe Mauer. Everyone would be calling Braden a box and a baby and whatnot. No doubt in my mind. But because it's Alex Rodriguez. A Yankee and a roid user...everyone is so quick to talk shit about him.

Yes, I am an ARod hater but it has nothing to do with him playing for the Yankees. It has everything to do with him being a gigantic douchebag. Not to mention that he a habitual liar who used PED's and cheated on his wife with a stripper, and LIED about both. 

Did you have the same man crush on ARod before he put on your beloved pinstripes.

Even ARod's relatives would lean to him being a douchebag. His teammates do. I would detest the man regardless of the hat he was wearing. He is an asshole.

No doubt Braden was a baby about the A-Rod situation, especially since he was still talking about it weeks later. I don't think Braden is a great pitcher, but he had an amazing performance today.

It has nothing to do with his action after the game. Congrats to the kid. Let him celebrate a feat that only 18 other pitchers in MLB History have done. That's not what I'm judging. I'm juding his stupid threat to A-Rod AND being a media attention person and bringing it up, unprovoked, 2 weeks later. That's why I hate this kid. Because he was a no name who used A-Rod to get on the news. I stated this in the other thread. Before the situation with A-Rod, when was the last time Braden was ever in the news? That headlined him so he thought, since it had faded, to get back on the news and talk some more.

Like I said...congrats. He did a great job. He's a really good pitcher. I'm not denying him of that. At least now he can be on the news for something good instead of calling out a 1st ballot hall of famer (roids pending).

Why did Arod walk across the pitchers mound?   Because he is a piece of shit as a person..... Maybe Braden blew it out of proportion but why would Arod do that?  The reason was to be a dick.

Sparky he threw a perfect game but he is not a great pitcher... A career 5.00 ERA and a 1.5 WHIP.... He fucking sucks, and made a fool of himself the past couple weeks...  I just cooked a nice Cheese burger on the BBQ, that doesn't make me a a great chef
