What does the saying ""MEANINGLESS GAME"" mean to you ? It's a term commonly used by a sports gambler but seldom used by s sports fan. There's a nice little angle developing among teams that have been eliminated from post season action. I started to keep of this last week as soon as teams had less than 10 games to play in the regular season. There are exactly 10 teams as of now that have been eliminated from post season play. DET, NJ,CLE, TOR,WASH,CHA,MIN,GS,SAC and NO. The trend on the OVER is 4-1 since April 8.
My thinking for this specific situation is simple. The unwillingness to play hard on defense combined with fatigue will make for higher scoring games. Shots become uncontested the D gets sluggish , players pile up fouls and coaches call less time outs to address the on court situation. I've never looking into this the previous seasons but with the condensed scheduling this year i think this a winning trend. It's probably not a bad idea to blindly bet this Over the rest of the season. My guess is that there will be least 15-20 more games. I am pretty confident that this will hit at 60% over the next two weeks. REMEMBER BOTH TEAMS HAVE TO BE ELIMINATED. Teams that are jockeying for playoff seedings aren't part of this situational trend. I LIKE THIS OVER TODAY BECAUSE THE WIZARDS ARE COMING OFF A SEASON LOW ( 65 POINTS 27% FROM THE FIELD) I strongly believe these stats won't repeat today against a non post season qualifier.

I put on it cuz of the history between those two, Thanks for putting time and always nice to read ur angle. Y Pacers? The Bux were plaing them on the 3rd consecutive night when blowing out at home and were favored by 4.5 Do they play worse than 3/24/12? playoff spot is on deck,I put it at -2.5 . just saing ... Good luck tonight Dimes

Thanks, dimes. I did notice that you have playoff bound Indiana included in one of your sample games. Oversight or can playoff teams be included? Thanks and Bol.

On totals I am strictly going with teams that are mathematically eliminated from post season play . The Pacers bet is a fade against the Bucks who are 1-5 ATS AGAINST TEAMS THAT CURRENTLY HAVE WINNING RECORDS.
i like this play

44 -- like the idea on the OVER with eliminated teams, but I noticed one of the games you quote was SAC @ IND -- IND is still in this bad boy as my 90-1 ticket for them to win the East indicates!
