As I said, I will stop posting everyday picks, keeping records and so on, but I will not stop betting. I made this thread so that everyone can come and post their info on certain games, trends and insights that can be valuable for our fellow bettors. I'm sure most of us are searching for trends, and all the info they can get to place their bets. Let's make this an interesting thread.
My pick for today is Under 196. Both teams are up in the Offensive rebounding category, but Varejao being out I think Utah will dominate the paint. Also, the Jazz are making quality shots, being 8th in the NBA in offensive efficiency, with Cleveland being 23rd. They are also averaging 49 ppg in the paint, 2nd in the league, and altough Cleveland is 5th, with 43 ppg, Varejao absence will be big especially in this matchup. He is one of the 3 Cavaliers players who has a positive productivity on the court, with a +1.7 rating, so Jefferson (+4.4 rating) can work in the paint all game long. The line is right, but it will be the same situation like last night with Lakers dominating the paint against Miami. However, Utah can't win on the road, and Cleveland can't win at all lately, losing 5 in a row. I think that the Cavaliers will try to secure the paint first, and I can see a lot of jump shots, and with these two teams that are so good at rebounding the ball, I don't think we will see many 2nd chance points. I will go with the under 196 here. Under is 17-4 when Cleveland is an underdog at home, and under is 10-5 when Utah plays on the road.
