So it appears from the briefs filed and from oral arguments that the Obama administration is basing a large portion of the legal support of its argument in support of the health care law that they really aren't forcing anyone to buy a product or enter a market because everyone will use health care services at one point or another in their life, and that as a result they are already in the market and its just a question of when they use the product.

Does that underlying justification hold water? I mean, is it in fact true that everyone utilizes health care services at some point in their life?

No, everyone does not but the vast majority do.  Besides that issue, there are private entities that provide services outside the realm of insurance to other private entities.
This admin was stupid not to just make this some big behind tax and it would all be legal.  They used a GOP think tank plan, modified it, and are now flabbergasted that this will potentially be struck down in toto.
