Better to put my assets in Roth this year or gamble with the broad market? I'm 62 and don't fear the gamble. Not retiring for awhile.

A Roth is just a retirement vehicle..you can still "gamble" in the market..it would just be in a retirement acct vs a non-retirement.

Yeah... I don't understand the argument, either. "Gambling" as you call it can be done in either tax-deferred or taxable accounts.
