#1 Posted: 11/2/2012 1:39:08 PM I have an issue here. The euro is in da shitter due to their recession yet their market goes up on US news. How does that solve their troubles? Then we get NYSE able to open on Wednesday while millions of people in the same vicinity are in the dark without power, heat, gasoline or food!
This is so wrong. The market should be closed until every man, woman and child has the same. People suffer and the market strolls along like nothing is wrong.
This sends a bad message to everyone. |

#4 Posted: 11/5/2012 11:21:09 AM Rubberneck, his issue was them going that extra mile to ensure the market could open while the rest of the area was in shambles. I was honestly amazed they were able to clear the place out and having it up and running but not the rest of the area. It was specific to that. |

#5 Posted: 11/5/2012 12:59:28 PM It was just a rant over how some get preferential treatment. I saw the pics of people with nothing and yet big business is unscathed. Would anyone's world end if the market closed for a week? Some people's worlds did end along with their lives! But the market survives, hooray for nothing!
Money always talks and BS walks because they have no power, heat, food, gasoline or housing. But it's all good lmao. Another storm on us on Wednesday. |

#7 Posted: 11/13/2012 1:41:35 AM You better be glad that the market is open and life goes on. There are people all over the world that hurt more than you and the market goes on. How do they benefit if the market stops for horror? Not a friggin bit. Grow up and stop crying. What the darn?? You sissy cry baby. The world shuts down because you are sensitive?? Jeez! |

#10 Posted: 11/24/2012 1:49:08 AM I agree why not just open the whole day if you close yesterday. Whats the point of waking traders back til noon, than tell market place to continue taking he day off. This has to do with psychology in the hoilday retail sector, and the coming year end Christmas rally. I was suppose to have a short position out at 4 P.M, and than I look back and the market was close. Stupid me of course its always open half days on hoildays. |
