#1 Posted: 5/16/2012 8:26:15 PM But I watched it a couple more times and I guess it grew on me........I like baseball films and this one really stands out.....Brad Pitt did a great job and I can see why the film was nominated.......
I guess not many in the academy crowd dip......probably didn't know what the hell Pitt was doing... |

#2 Posted: 5/17/2012 4:52:37 PM One of the best sports films ever made, and Im not even a baseball fan. Great acting all around in this one and the crazy part is that its based on a true story. |

#4 Posted: 5/17/2012 7:54:12 PM clear......don't disagree.....thought it was very entertaining....especially Jonah Hill's roll.......I'd give it an 8.5....maybe 9.......I will buy the DVD and it goes into my Top 25 all time.....
Little fella? so you know the greatness of Little Joe Washington? Very few of these youngsters have a clue |

#7 Posted: 5/18/2012 8:59:42 AM It's been on the Encore channels within the past month or so.
I thought it was pretty good, but nothing special.
7.5/10 for me. |

#8 Posted: 5/18/2012 3:25:31 PM Who would have thought that the fat kid from Superbad would be a pretty darn good actor? He's won me over and I'm officially a fan |

#13 Posted: 8/22/2012 11:42:41 AM Loved it. I'd watch it just for the scenes with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Hell, I wasn't sure that WASN'T Art Howe the first time I saw it. |
