#2 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:20:45 AM I have a feeling the Dragons and Roosters will turn emotionally flat after there Anzaz epic clash. Very hard to back up after such a game emtionally. The Cows will be smarting after that loss the other night.
The eels and in particular Hayne gives the dogs problems. The dogs have also had 2 good games against the comps elite and fell just short.
The Warriors (if Johnson is fit) will be up for the broncs IMO, great value. Tigs and Titans shoud go over, The storm should rape the Panfers, Eagles too good for the Raiders, over in that game, i have afunny feeling the k ights will beat the emotionally strangled roosters.....MNF will be a coin flip |

#4 Posted: 5/1/2012 5:14:54 AM Agree with you on the emotional back up. If i remember correctly both Rooster and Bunnies lost the week after there miracle wins. I also love the look of Nth Qld forward pack atm. And when Scott returns its only gonna get better for them. I am a Dragons supporter and i am even leaning Cowboys now. Cant touch the Eels until the atleast show me 80 mins of complete football. The dogs defence is no Tigers defence either and if they get a lead the Eels aint coming back from it. Tigers will no doubt work on there defence all week and will have a point to prove after the Eels game so i wouldnt touch that over/under..............
NZ with Johnson may be a good bet but again they have shown nothing. In the Storm game everyman and his dog will be on the Storm. There is no possible way that the Panthers can even compete with them right? Thats what worrys me it will be smashed by the public! Eagles you would have to fancy them over the raiders yes. Would have to take the Knights to if i was made to pick right now. |

#5 Posted: 5/1/2012 5:22:58 AM Doubt 14.5 will be enough for Penrith. Newcastle beat them by 20, should have been more and they didn't play that well.
Agree with Lunch that Rabbits v Sharks game of the round. Who would have thought..
If Buderus suits up the Knights should win again.

#8 Posted: 5/1/2012 6:58:53 AM Ok i am starting to like 3 bets............... NTH QLD/ TIGERS/ MANLY @ 2.68.
I will take the Tigers because of how much the Titans suck! I expect a big defensive effort from the Tigers this week. Also Manly looks to be a gift at 1.20 to add some value to the multi. May chuck in NZ warriors +12.5 in the dozen start to. If Nth Qld get the job done it looks like easy $$$. |

#10 Posted: 5/1/2012 7:13:42 AM Good luck mate. I'd be wary taking the Cowboys as a banker ever though |

Based on the last 2 rounds Parra would be a small fave, going off the whole season a PK or Penrith -2.5. Doubt the oddsmakers would give more than 4 points either way.

#23 Posted: 5/4/2012 1:11:12 AM Mate i remember when i was 17 (by this stage i was a regular down at my local tab) and i put down a $200 bet on Australia to beat South Africa in the Union. It lost. I thought my whole world had ended! Lol many years down the track i laugh at such losses. Anyway i have learned to take the emotion out of betting. If you bet with emotion you will always end up backing losses. You have to think clearly. I have a set amount that i am willing to lose and if i do i will go back to just betting 100's or 200's. |
