Colts LARGE

Pats will squeak by with another hard fought win; in a game that will be decided by a field goal.

Andrew Luck and Denver's Peyton Manning very close friends of ours.  They know the spread, and do everything in their power to help their fans.

Gold Sheet's Prediction:

Indianapolis 22 at New England 26  "Few rookie QBs....have ever demonstated the quick-study skills and consistency being evidenced by Indy's Andrew Luck, who has produced 81 first downs the last three games.  Moreover, youngsters such as RB Vick Ballard, WR  T.Y. Hilton and TE Dwayne Allen are emerging in the balanced Colt attack.

N.E. free this week to add recently-acquired CB Aqib Talib to its defensive mix.  But the Pats' pass ruch rarely reminding many of N.E.'s Super Bowl teams, and key TE Aaron Hernandez still bothered by his ankle injury last week.

Indianapolis Colts +9 vs. New England Patriots!

Brady vs. arguably the worst secondary in the league is just unfair. The pats defense aint much either, but i actually think the pats will put up 40+ in this one. Ne and over for me, ill definitely win one out of 2 with a good shot at both.

 Two words... Adam Vinatieri

His foot will provide the cover needed by Colts backers here.

Normally I don't like giving that much chalk, but I think Brady & Co. will be throwing all over these Colts. Yes, they're on a hot 4 game winning streak, but look at the "teams" they beat:

Browns (barely), Titans (in O.T.), Dolphins (by a FG), and the super-crappy Jaguars. I think they get brought back down to earth with an old fashioned Belichick beatdown. Especially after last week's home streak scare from the Bills.

Pats -9.5

I agree!  It's not too often you have two 6-3 teams playing and have a line of 9.5.  Last week, the 3-5 Bills were getting practically the same amount of points at New England. I think Vegas wants the public on the Colts and they are trying to entice them with a big number after the Bills came in and almost won.  The media coverage has been primarily about how bad New England's secondary is, but I think Bellichik's changes will make a difference this Sunday.  The addition of Talib and moving McCourty back to his natural position at safety could be the difference maker for this underachieving unit.
I think Luck is the real deal, but he is still a rookie playing on the road. Peyton Manning was 3-13 his rookie year.
If I take action in this one, it's going to be on the pats.

Just to let you know, the Pats are one of the worst teams that give up 20+ yard pass plays which is right up Luck's alley.  How much luck does Luck have left and how far can it carry him?  This will not be a blowout wins by any means and Indy won't just roll over and hand New England a win.  It'll be a monumental rookie achievement for Luck if he can come into New England and beat the Pats out right.  Obviously something that the Colts have always struggled with in the past with my favorite player, Manning.

But I really love the over in this game more than anything.  The Pats can definitely score and are the 3rd worst in the league against the pass.

Wow, reminds me of the days of Manning vs. Brady in their awesome shootout games!  I think that trend continues here.

Patriots looked suspect at best against the Bills, the fn Bills..

.........and not sure where y'all get your numbers, stats, facts etc, but NE's pass D  is far worse than the Colts!

Luck meanwhile has the best percentage of completed pass plays of 20+ yards in the entire NFL!

Still on the fence.,

Also the Colts have a better D than Buffalo and they're 6-3 not 3-6!!!

After almost blowing their last game against the Bills, and the Colts being 6-3. There is obviously a big reason NE is giving that much points. They will cover!! I would understand a 4-7 1/2 point spread but that high of a spread must mean Tom Brady and Co. will have some fun tomorrow!
