FYI, This was done by the reg refs.....go on the net and watch Chargers @ Steelers 11/16/2008....see if you can explain this one.

The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. San Diego Charger game just confirms what gamblers already knew. If NFL games aren't outright fixed, at the very least there are strong influential factors from the game within the game that effect the outcome of some contests. The Steeler game is the shining example that wagering on professional football is officially acknowledged by the League in some capacity.

Down by 1 with 5 seconds to play and needing 80 yards for a winning score, the San Diego Chargers, who happened to be 4 point dogs, tried a desperate combination of laterals hoping for a miracle TD. The second of two legal backwards laterals was knocked down and then scooped up for a game covering TD by Troy Polamalu with no time left.

As the teams exited the field the referees huddled up and decided to review the play. Head referee Scott Green, in a sheepishly convoluted explanation, deemed the play an illegal forward pass that was therefore dead on the spot. The points were taken off, and Scott Green and crew hauled behind off the field. WTF? What illegal forward pass? There was none. Here's an AP interview with Scott Green, conducted by an AP reporter right after the game.

this is a gimme NE -4 <- - - - BUF is down to their 3rd string RB
these games have usually been blow-outs. come to think it, after finally beating NE last year I think week 3 or 4 is when Fitzpatrick got that contract and it's been down hill ever since lol

Not sure if I like your reverse line movement theory on this one @vietdeity86

New England is the lock of the week. Of course the bills will beat them if it's rigged for them to win...but I don't think it is. No way the bills could beat them otherwise. The bills are extremely over rated and have been for a long time now. I think this is revenge for NE and I doubt they lose 3 in a row. But you never know..until you know.

Even though there's already been not one but two L.O.T.W. references in this thread, I gotta say, I just don't see the Bills even close in this one.....

Pats -4, getting it while the getting's good........

There is no such thing as a "lock" as we all know. Having said that, how does N.E. respond to a disheartening loss to Baltimore? I don't know, I'm staying away from this game.

If you guys are so afraid of the outcomes of each and every game then why play any game? Seriously, after everything that happened this past week in the NFL do you really think that it'll happen again? I personally don't! Patriots and T. Brady smash this week! S. Ridley and R. Gronkowski will be major factors and targeted a lot more than they were against the ravens. R. Gronkowski won't need to stay on the line of scrimmage to block without a pass rushing defense of the Bills!  S. Ridley and the run game will keep the Bills defense honest. Plus T. Brady always bounces back against division rivals and has big games. T. Brady is 16-1 against the Bills as a starter. I'll take my chances and role with the dominant team!

PATRIOTS -4

I like the Patriots here and ATLiens makes a good point, after the referee screwjob last week a low profile will be necessary for the fixers. NE has an improved defense so not expecting a repeat of last year.

New England has lost 2 in a row, lost a heartbraker to Baltimore, Belichick gets fined 50k, Bufflao is looking great lately, etc. etc.

Haven't we seen this song and dance a million times before?  Isn't this the spot where New England wins by 3 touchdowns?  4 points isn't enough for me to take the Bills here.

NE -4.

Am I missing something?  I would take the Pats -10 never mind -3.5.  The way the line is moving, I guess I'll just keep waiting for the line to go to Pats +3 before I bet though lol.

Gronk and Ridley have big games with Brandon Loyd taking one 40+ deep for a TD.  Look for the Pats to come out firing on all cylinders. Just my opinion.

I said at the begining of the seson the pats would be in for a down year]the bills win this 1 by 2]
