#2 Posted: 11/20/2011 11:00:07 PM This line looks low to me, expected UGA to be favored by 10+. This is by far the best rush defense GT has seen this year (overall defense rank is 4th nationally) Georgia has the size to stop the dive play and the LB speed to control the edges. UGA has won 10 of the last 11 games. Tech defense is weak and gives up 28+ to everyone they play. When UGA offense is in sync they move the ball well both passing and running. Line may be down this low due to Bulldog running backs that missed last weeks game. May have to do more research this week.
Right now I think UGA wins, and covers by 2+ TDs. Home field advantage won't be much of an edge, this is a small stadium, and there are usually as many UGA fans with tickets. Good luck to all. |

#3 Posted: 11/21/2011 6:27:54 AM UGA and Tech are similar teams in that neither team really has faced a tough schedule.
This is probably UGA's toughest game since the first two of the season. UGA's toughest games were neutral field against Florida and at home against Auburn. Their toughest road game all year was at Tennessee. They have beaten some bad teams.
Tech has beaten Clemson at home, a team that is very similar to UGA.
UGA will not be able to stop the run. So just stop with all that. Tech will run for 300 yards like they always do.

Sir, that statement makes no sense. These teams hate each other. Neither one wants to end the regular season with a loss.

#7 Posted: 11/23/2011 2:22:49 PM I'm on Georgia Tech as I see this as a big, nasty trap for the Dawgs. Small play, but this has been an excellent game for several years. It will be close. |

#9 Posted: 11/24/2011 4:14:11 PM Georgia holds Tech under 25 and exposes Tech's secondary. Ga -5.5 with a small lean on the over. |

#16 Posted: 11/25/2011 9:17:51 PM For those using the logic that UGA will be looking ahead to LSU, this is the 4th time since Richt has been at Georgia that they have played GT the week before the SEC championship game. So far they are only 3-0 with the everage winning score 33-10. Doesn't indicate they take them lightly to me. While defense is nationally #4 overall, they are 2nd against the run, giving up 81 yards per game. Naturally GT will run for more than that, but with a weak passing attack what must they rush for? 200? Even 300? It won't be enough total offense to outscore UGA (averaging over 35 per game) with their defense, which is 42nd in the nation. Just doesn't compute, but lasy week showed us anything can happen. Good luck. |

No chance your a homer, huh? Clemson got blown out by NC State. Clemson's defense is awful.GA Tech's defense is worse than Clemson's (remember the UVA game?) Who cares if Tech beat Clemson.
ACC sucks, SEC doesn't. UGA wins by 7-10.
And I'm an ACC guy.

#22 Posted: 11/26/2011 9:57:15 AM Georgia -5.5Really like Geo here. This is a bulldog team that's run off 9 straight wins and are headed to the SEC championship game. Don't see them slipping up here at all. They will be focused for sure. GT struggled to get by Duke last week, much tougher opponent here 34-17 Georgia |
