see if I can scratch away a little value. field of ten and fairly wide open. should be a couple that get more play than this one.
race 9
rail at 96 feet (basically like being on an outer turf course)
5 WP
6/1 ml. pace, speed, stamina, J/T combo in that order. off the shelf here for Brown who hits at 27% off a 61-180 day stint on the pine and 29% first time he gets one and 31% on turf. looking at this particular scenario if this guy comes back firing he should be able to set the clip or sit just off of it here and continue to put in a strong effort well past the wire. the other fellas that go early have been known to fade late or have only been able to wire much weaker crews. the chalk should be the 7 and comes from well out of it and might be better suited with more ground. like how this 5 has won impressively going 6F in 1:07.1 (I know the turf was real quick that day at NYRA) and put in a sustained run going 7/8ths in the mud. 5F could be a nice way to come back from a break. must be fit in order to use his stamina edge. six well spaced drills for the comeback with the three most recent all going 5/8ths which I like. also like the last drill jumping from the main track to the lawn. either wire to wire, stalk and pounce, or hits a wall because of fitness and up the track. 0.75 units.
7 is a legit fav that has every chance to win this from off the pace. will he get up in time? 4 will get play because of Maker/Rosario. his best are in Miami on races washed off but that said he could certainly win. 13 is intriguing as a bomb he may have more to show us but tough post to try and go out front. 12 could pop thanks to Rudy's medicine cabinet and has the ability to compete here. 11 an old hard knocker that can compete.
good luck

Here is a scenario where I would consider post postion a lot more important than I typically do. With the rail out like this especially and going 5F on turf at GP the starting gate is pretty close to the turn for home. Being outside if you like to run up front can be a challenge. With scratches the 5 is in the third hole which is nice but nothing more than a nice starting point.

not the greatest bet of my life. he got bet more than I envisioned and a DQ bumped me up to the place slot. not sure why Castellano seemed to be content keeping him bottled up behind horses.
13 my second choice and he got DQ'ed down from a 6/1 win. fun game huh. see ya tomorrow for SA, GP, and TB.
