This was probably the only play that was a "smart" one. Arum knows how to take care of his money machines.....

Another "chump", another JCC2 victory.  Hell, lets put him in against another 50 chumps and we can have a guy w/ a 100-0 record.  Oh wait, one no contest (doping) and a draw that should be a loss.  Red flags are shooting up like crazy !!  Remember a little birdy told you in early 2012, as soon as this kid starts moving around in weight classes, and takes the high profile money fights (which I'm not sure I see on the horizon) he will be easy fade material.  So for now, I'm just gonna keep rolling him against these chumps and build my bankroll !!  That garbage was too easy.  I would really like to know all the "late money" that came in on Rubio, and what led them to the "ba-donkey-donk" wager of the evening??????

Jaybirdy, I'm sure the drunk driving story got some people to think about Chavez losing. Chavez is a B level guy, as long as they fight stiffs he win win, he is no where near ready to fight the top guys (weak competition) He is supposed to fight Margarito in June (what a joke) Maybe by next year Bob will get the balls to make a super fight ( I don't think Chavez will fight Canelo or Martinez anytime soon, even though he should)

You ARE SPOT ON cd2010.  I just read in USA Today (Wed Feb. 8) that Arum has openly stated "Chavez Jr. is NOT ready for Sergio Martinez, maybe two or three fights away".  The article followed up by saying that Diabella will hold Jr. team to a mandatory championship fight schedule, which includes a match against Sergio, or else vacate his title.  Sergio is 37 now.  Come on Bob, do we wait until Sergio is 40??? I've got a few longtime friends "mexicanos of course" that are all over this kid, and it makes me throw up in my mouth to not see him fighting top guys.  I really wish my homies would jump on that Canelo Alvarez wagon, because that guy is "the real deal".  He will treat the boxing fans to far more entertainment than Chavez Jr. ever will,.

Chavez isn't ready for Sergio, I can see that (I guess, but isn't the point of boxing to see who is better), but he should fight Canelo, they are both young and haven't fought anyone that good so it is a even match, based on what I have seen Canelo will win, Chavez is more than likely a joke which is why they are avoiding anyone who remotely has a chance. F#@k Bob Arum, can't wait til him and Don King are out of the fight game.
