Grew up in Arnie' s home town.. Latrobe , Pa... Have met and talked to him many times at local gatherings and on local private courses.. Including his own Latrobe CC.. He always has time for the "ordinary guy"... Tight with the cash for most part... Except for cancer research and grants.. Good egg... When he went on tour could not beat a local player and fellow playing partner Tommy Smith... PSU's only golf All American... But Tommy stayed to raise his family .. Not alot of cash on the tour back then.. Arnie started the clash flow into golf.. Followed up by Tiger bringing large cash to the game..
