Announced as the Los Angeles Dodgers hitting coach. I think it is a solid signing by the Dodgers.

being a great player, doesnt make u a great coach 

what coaching credentials does he have or is he just looking for a gig to pay the rent

He did a solid job for the Cardinals after losing Pujols. They didn't miss a beat. I like the move for the Dodgers.

No his contract was up and being a Souther California guy he wanted to coach closer to home.

Yeah winning a world series and then making it to the NL championship wasn't good enough.

It is a very good move for The Dodgers in my opinion. He took a Cardinals offense that lost their best hitter and did wonders. Plus he wants to be on the west coast. This makes more sense then some of the trades that The Dodgers made last year.
