#1 Posted: 7/1/2012 7:39:30 AM Okay guys, i just wanted to get some input from you guys on how i should manage these Season over/unders. The over/under team total season wins is my favorite thing to bet on, this way i wont be fucked over by some ridicilous darn up on the night which happened so many times. I know the lines havent been released yet, but the teams that i will list now is just teams that i think will improve from last year, and are capable of going over their respective line (even tho the line hasn't been put out yet)
As of now, here are the teams that i think will go over their spreads (Depends on what the spreads are of course, but it's just a guess as of now)
- Hornets - Rockets - Timberwolves - Raptors - Heat - Trail Blazers
Here are the teams that i think will go under their lines (Even tho the lines havent been released, just an estimated guess)
- Bobcats - Cavs - Nets - Pacers
Ok guys, i don't want u tell me if u like the picks or not (and its pretty hard to, when you don't know the lines)
But i mean, would it be stupid to play these? For example, lets say i had all 5 teams from the Atlantic Division to go OVER; Boston - Philadelphia - Knicks - Raptors - Nets, then i probably wouldn't get them all home, and it would be very unlikely that i would profit from it.
Ok, when i look on the OVER picks i can see that;
Hornets and Rockets are in the division - would it be stupid to play them both over, or is it still likely when its only 2?
Trailblazers and Timberwolves are in the division - would it be stupid to play them both over, or is it still likely when its only these 2?
Heat and Raptors are in their own division.
On the under; Cavs and Pacers are in the same division, would that be stupid to have 2 unders in same division?
Bobcats are in their own division, however they are paired with Miami Heat, and im pretty confident with this, not so worried about Bobcats/Miami play, just the ret.
Nets are in their own "under" division, however they are also paired with Raptors where i have Raptors over. I personally think its okay to have an Over in the division paired with an Under from the same division, but idk if its okay to have 2 overs in the same?
Here is the teams i have listed in the Two Conferences:
West:
Hornets [Over] Warriors [Over] Wolves [Over] Trail Blazers [Over] Rockets [Over]
When i look at it this way, i think its pretty bad that i have 5 overs from the same Conference, not any of the unders are from here....
East:
Heat [Over] Toronto [Over] Charlotte [Under] Pacers [Under] Nets [Under] Cavs [Under]
2 Overs and 4 Unders from the East, how does that look?
Please give me feedback on this guys, idc if u like it or not like don't say "I dont think Heat will win many games this year" Just say if its likely or unlikely that i can profit from this with this pairing kind of system.

#2 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:42:43 AM Initially think Celtics, Heat under Knicks maybe over.
Orlando, Hawks, Nets, Hornets, Indiana under.
Grizzlies, Blazers, Rockets over these seem to over achieve.
OKC under Bulls under
Because Vegas will take into account people thinking draft will help Hornets and love the Heat and OKC and Bulls and put those lines out too high because of fan faves.
Think Celtics dropping off a bit.
Quick takes. What do you think? |

#3 Posted: 7/1/2012 12:45:02 PM You know, this is not a question if a certain team has a chance of going over, because i have faith in all the teams i listed can go over the spread. But, im curious to know; is it likely that i can get ALL of them home? Or are there simply too many teams in the same conference to make it happen, like will they face each other so many times that it most likely will not happen?

#6 Posted: 7/2/2012 6:25:26 PM As long as the line is reasonable, I would put everything I have on the Nets to go over. They added GWallace late in the season, Brook Lopez was injured for most of it. This team is nowhere near as bad as their record showed. I hope they dont add any major superstars so I can take advantage of a low line |

#7 Posted: 7/2/2012 6:32:54 PM looks like they just did a trade...Joe Johnson for Morrow, Farmar and scrubs. As long as Deron Williams stays, Im all over the Nets this year. Deron, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Humphries, Lopez has playoff potential. |

#10 Posted: 7/3/2012 4:25:47 PM Ok, as of now ive cut Cavs, Nets, Pacers off the under list. I've also removed Raptors from the over list, and im considering to remove Timberwolves from the list, im not sure about that one yet..
I don't want to have too many picks as they may ruin it for each other.
