If you tried some, let us know. They roll out today, are smaller, have the skins on, and are seasoned with sea salt.

It's different. But is it better?

I'll have my opinion with a taste test tomorrow.

I would just stay away from them, they do a pretty good job of getting people to buy their fries in a hurry...all they gotta say is...they're new!
Because everyone already knows that the previous fries actually sucked. worse than Mcdonalds fries...and THEY suck.

Junk food as a whole...sucks!
Lets try cooking people, save money, and save yourself a couple years of life.
Its funny how we can tell people straight to their faces...it'll kill you if you keep ingesting this stuff...and they are soo caught up in their habitual lives that they don't seem to get the hint. Humans truly are stupid.

rarely eat fast food but will hit up wendys or in-n-out occasionally.

went to wendys on last sunday  - actually thought the new fries were pretty good. Much better than before.

REAL French fries should be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside...from frying twice....no one can do that, which is why the thinner fries are usually more popular....

Tried these...Found them thicker than others; but also soft and gummy...taste was adequate.

If you come out to Vegas, try In-and-Out Burger fries...most agree that they are better than all other fast-food fries.

I did not like the old wendy's fries... some had skin on them I believe...

Just wait...  in 5 years sweet potato fries will have taken over as they are in the process of mass production...

Just had sweet potato fries couple of days ago.  Surprised they were so good.  Frozen pre-cut then baked them on pizza stone.

better then the old but bring back that old oil at Mickey D's

The changing of the oil changed fast food fries

I really like the new fries.  But noted that they need to have some across the board rules on the salt on them.  Some places salt a good bit and some not hardly at all.

very observant there Sir, with the new frys we have also started using a new type salt shaker,,the problem you mentioned is a major concern and we get more comments along those lines than about anything else fry related -again,,keen eye,,or should I say keen taste buds on your behalf--salutes

Wow they are solid. They have really stepped there game up with the apple-wood smoked bacon and new fries.

Wendy's is the only fast food place that actually tries to improve the product.

I like the new ones, also. But, if you want more salt, they only have the regular salt to put on them..............

more salt?

I've never come across a fast food joint that doesn't put entirely too much salt on their fries

Go to a few Wendys now and I can promise you one of them will have hardly no salt on them.
