#7 Posted: 11/7/2010 9:43:06 PM I live in zona but spent the last 5 years in wisconsin. Grilling would not fly at all in the winter. -20 degree wind chill flying off the lakes.... Its like the arctic circle up there.

same weather hear in South Dakota, you just have to pick your days obviously, but I do grill at least once every month in the winter. |

But last year winter here in the Philly area was flip flopped with further north. I shoveled more snow last winter than the 20 plus other years I've lived in Philly area combined

You are mixing phrases, I both grew up in heavy winters, also lived in Philly (last winter was pretty heavy) AND lived in St.Louis a few years, their winters have very high humidity, sleet and snow..

#16 Posted: 11/10/2010 11:41:01 AM Not hating on either comments Roca and WSC. I went to school 3 hours north of Syracuse, NY and those winters are legit. The closest city was Ottawa. Just dont see any comparison to Philly and St.Louis winters. When the thermometer hit 30 degrees, it seriously felt like spring time. Wind chills are nothing, when the actual temperature is below 0 for 3 months.
