Gray won easily. He was the aggressor all 5 rounds. They each landed few punches in the first 3 rounds but Guida kept dancing around the octagon. If side-stepping in a circle, bobbing left n right n doing the Muhammad Ali shuffle are all you do. How do u win a round?

someone face was messed up the whole fight, and it was from punches, not running

Gray Maynard was the only one trying to fight. The UFC would not be the exciting brand that it is if they rewarded performances like Guidas tonight. I'm sorry if u lost money on Guida, I liked him before tonights fight but having no money on this fight I don't know who could unbiasedly say Guida won.

Clay Guida only won the 1st round, and the 2nd round was very close. Anybody that disagrees with that, doesn't really know how to score MMA.

i had money on guida.

imo the fight was even going into the fifth and deciding round. you cant win the last round of a main event fight by having the ref warn you of inactivity. he just couldnt find that one flurry or takedown.

as phil baroni once said, "always the bridesmaid and never the bride."

thats clay guida.

he won the fourth round the exact moment he avoided the sub and secured top position.

I know Greg Jackson knows how to "win" but he is seriously ruining MMA. Not saying all fighters should just go out there and brawl but Hesus Christ Jackson MMA is one step above Tae Kwob Doe point sparring. Hope Dana calls him out on that BS

Yup Sherdog knows nothing about MMA, and by that I mean that the three guys they use to score rounds in the pbp have never watched a fight, nor had the live broadcaster who had CG winning the fight.

I had $ on guida so I was watching biased... Yes he ran... I also thought at least one judge would give him 4 rounds. Running or not, he landed more strikes and kicks. Gray hit air with most shots

Seriously, I can admit when it was a bad decision, but this was not a bad decision at all!

I had a $hitload on Maynard, but that's besides the point.  If the judges gave Guida the win it would have set the sport back 15 years.

You can't run away and refuse to engage for 22 minutes of a fight.  Guida deserves to be cut from the UFC.  Dana was angry.

i said the decision reminded me of machida rampage. but i also recalled how pissed off tito got when fighting machida because he was getting out of the way. guida was engaging. i never saw the fight stats, but i'm sure guida outstruck him with the hands, and most likely the kicks too.

i never said it was a bad decision, but i thought guida won based on more pts scored

I had nothing on this fight, but i thought Guida won 1-3 and lost 4 and 5. Judges jus gave it to who was more aggressive.

I thought he won 1-3 too. And gray needed a finish. But undoubtedly, guida won 1, 2-5 were close
