#3 Posted: 8/11/2012 2:28:05 PM Its a good play yeah they lost players and have no recievers past AJ who is always hurt, but nobody is in there way for the division. They can run better than anybody else and have a top tier defense even without Demeco and Mario. Solid play. |

That's why I'm happy my boy Keenum got picked up by Houston. He will get his opportunity in the near future!

#11 Posted: 8/12/2012 10:23:10 PM The Texans are not, i repeat, are not winning the Super Bowl. They lost a lot of key components on D and offense. They lost 2nd leading tackler on team. They also lost 2 tackles and TE Dresseen who lead the team in TD catches. Andre Johnson, who has been very overrated to begin with, is done as a player. He NEVER caught more than 8 TD'S in a season anyway. And to you in post #1, Matt Schaub is nowhere near being a STUD. Weak arm, can't scramble and not smart. I live in Houston and know this team. They will win the division, by fault, then lose round 1, trust me. |

#12 Posted: 8/12/2012 10:25:43 PM And they lost CB Jason Allen who was molding Kareem Jackson. KJackson will get lit up again without the veteren Allen to advise him. Just watch. Texans 9-7, lose round 1 of playoffs |

#14 Posted: 8/12/2012 10:42:57 PM CrashDavis is a trouble maker - do not trust posts from this person - Houston Texans have no chance of a Superbowl Win - They are not in the Top 3-4 Teams in the AFC - They are a good team but not great and they lost Mario Williams

#17 Posted: 8/12/2012 11:21:04 PM Schaub throws for a ton of yards and wins a lot of games for a weak armed QB who cannot scramble.
This is a solid squad looking to breakthrough |

#21 Posted: 8/12/2012 11:31:40 PM Some of us use the free picks as a way to try out systems or for entertainment on the side. I give my star picks about as much thought as picking my nose.
I used to put more thought into them until the idea of betting real money came to me, now that is how I keep track of my wins and losses.

#22 Posted: 8/12/2012 11:33:45 PM Finally, I really like the Packers to win the super bowl, would that not make a great thread?
The idea is to stimulate conversation and debate, I see that you have added a lot to the conversation with your deep insight and amazing wit.
I cannot wait for your 5 red stars from 2012...I will be watching closely. |

#24 Posted: 8/12/2012 11:40:22 PM at 12-1 Does it not seem odd to all of you they are favored over the 49ers, Steelers. Ravens, Broncos, Eagles, Saints and the Giants?
They may be a very good squad, maybe.
Time will tell. I do like them to win the Super Bowl.
