#1 Posted: 12/21/2011 1:41:33 AM I have looked at tep's picks the last two days (December 19, 20), and I realized that he never took any NBA games? Now, each day there has been a NBA game at 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. eastern time. All of his picks were in before then anyway. I'm not saying he is doing anything wrong here, but I have been forced to take a NBA game each of those days so far. Any idea how he did not have to take a NBA game?

#2 Posted: 12/21/2011 1:51:48 AM I thought maybe he was picking somehow before the NBA games were posted? However, I looked for the 21st already around 1:00 a.m. and all NBA preseason games are already posted.

#3 Posted: 12/21/2011 1:57:03 AM Point is.....if I have to take a lousy NBA preseason game that means nothing...........then he should have to too. Would like some feedback here on this!

#4 Posted: 12/21/2011 2:09:01 AM oh, yeah; and he took 2 NCAAB games each of those days; meaning that somehow NBA was bypassed. We can bypass games if there time on the game is early (i.e. I did it the other night skipping hockey which ended at 9p.m. eastern time and took a NCAAB game at 1030 which I think was my second game.
But, NBA has been late each night + his picks were in early.

#5 Posted: 12/21/2011 7:57:05 AM Every time I picked there has been no NBA. I pick early and for what ever reason no lines were up but today they are. |

#6 Posted: 12/21/2011 12:47:21 PM I was actually figuring that was what happened tep. I even mentioned that as a possibility. I just think it is unfair that I'm forced to take 2 lousy NBA preseason games when you were not. This makes no sense to me why those games were not posted for you to take? I'm way back anyway in the standings anyway, but I still want an even playing field. I'm sure you agree?

#7 Posted: 12/21/2011 1:52:53 PM I guess its a chance you take picking later in the day. Not everyone has the same lines either on the games. On Monday I saw people had SF-1.5 yet I had to lay 3. Is that fair? How the game is palyed. |

#9 Posted: 12/22/2011 12:32:31 AM the reason why is because some days there are multiple sports nba, ncaaf, ncaab, nhl and then nfl there for you have the choice his choice was simply not to play a shitty nba preseason game ,but if you are late in your picks and lets say the college football game has already begun you are stuck with having to play them shitty nba preseason games its all when the games start. so he is doing nothing wrong just getting his picks in early |

#10 Posted: 12/22/2011 6:22:45 PM never said he's doing something wrong.....and no......on those two days mentioned nobody should have had a chance to "skip" nba preseason. There were not additional sports to pick from on those two days. One would be forced into nba preseason.

#12 Posted: 12/23/2011 6:43:53 AM This is a contest... with MANY angles.
When to make picks... ( to get the spread you like or wait and hope it goes up or down for your liking)
When to make picks... ( in hopes you don't have to play a certain sport)
Bottom line... as long as he makes only 4 picks a day... it's all good.
* Side note... yes, the NBA means nothing, but as much as some hate it because of that... others find it to be an easy win for just that same reason.
Forget complaining... just pick winners.

#14 Posted: 1/23/2012 11:08:09 PM If you knew nothing about NBA preseason you would still have a 50-50 chance. Any other sport, if you were good and lucky you might have a 56-60 percent chance, so he might have gotten a 8% advantage on 2 games which would equal .16 wins in the long run. You could get lucky with a line change and pick up 1 game or have two blown calls in a night that cost you 2. games. |
