El Dorodo is the best downtown has to offer. Greg Carrano runs a good food program here. Can't go wrong with Roxy's, Brew City or La Strada. The spa suites are good as well.
The Peppermill has some good action. Right acroos the street from the mill is a Meditteranean restaurant. "Chef Maurice" Its good to eat some fresh food after spending to much time in the casinos with only burger joints, coffee shops and steak houses (Which can be good too). I like the Sushi bar at the mill. Atlantis has a good sushi bar too.
Whatever you do to not get the "awful awful" burger downtown. It will rip your behind out.
The Grand Sierra does this thing early morning at the craps table where they put up a make shift wall in the middle of the table to cut it in half. You don't even have to roll the dice just drop them on the table. Charlie Palmer Steak house is really good here. |
