Why do hundreds of physicists, scientists, engineers, architects, police officers, firefighters, medical professionals, and military officers, veterans and the 911 family members disagree and dispute the 911-commission report and the National Institute of Standards and Technology? If what the government says is fact…how can facts be disputed by these people? You can’t dispute fact but for some reason these people seem to?

Did NIST consult with outside experts during the investigation?

NIST marshaled world-class technical expertise from both within and outside the agency. External experts were drawn from academia, practice, and government, and used on an as-needed basis in various phases of the investigation.

Has NIST responded to those who believe that the WTC towers and WTC 7 collapsed in ways other than the mechanisms determined by the NIST investigation?


To respond to a number of the questions raised about the collapses of the WTC towers, NIST posted a fact sheet in 2006 stating that NIST found no corroborating evidence for alternative hypotheses suggesting that the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition using explosives or by missiles. In 2007 and 2008, additional fact sheets addressed later questions from the alternative theory groups, including questions related to the collapse of WTC 7.

The information from these fact sheets has been consolidated into the current FAQs on the WTC towers and WTC 7.

NIST respects the right of others to hold opinions that do not agree with the findings and conclusions described in its reports on the collapses of WTC 1, 2 and 7. However, the WTC investigation team stands solidly behind these findings and conclusions, including the failure mechanisms defined for each building and the sequences of events leading to the initiation of the three collapses.

Until the 911 families get their open trial and get the evidence, they want to go public, I will continue to side with the 911 families. I will not believe any side 100 percent until all of the evidence that the government is withholding is presented. The evidence the government has belongs to the people.

The "Osama" in the tape is actually a known Egyptian militant who is not as tall and much too heavy to be Osama. I'll just bet you didn't know that tape was a fake! It wasn't reported on CNN.

Now we have had another audio tape allegedly from Osama. We were told that it is "proof" that he committed the 9-11 attacks. The "Osama" voice is apparently saying that the so-called 10th hijacker who was charged in American courts is actually innocent, but the real purpose of the tape is to acknowledge Osama's admission of ordering the 9-11 attacks. Well, hold on because now it appears that this tape is also fake. It's yet another Bush disinformation camapign to make people angry at Islamics and Arabs and to continue the blame game and justify the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as a prelude to yet another miserable war in Iran.

A DECLARATION OF WAR

In February 1998, the 40-year-old Saudi exile Usama Bin Ladin and a fugitive Egyptian physician, Ayman al Zawahiri, arranged from their Afghan headquarters for an Arabic newspaper in London to publish what they termed a fatwa issued in the name of a "World Islamic Front." A fatwa is normally an interpretation of Islamic law by a respected Islamic authority, but neither Bin Ladin, Zawahiri, nor the three others who signed this statement were scholars of Islamic law. Claiming that America had declared war against God and his messenger, they called for the murder of any American, anywhere on earth, as the "individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it.


Three months later, when interviewed in Afghanistan by ABC-TV, Bin Ladin enlarged on these themes. He claimed it was more important for Muslims to kill Americans than to kill other infidels. "It is far better for anyone to kill a single American soldier than to squander his efforts on other activities," he said. Asked whether he approved of terrorism and of attacks on civilians, he replied: "We believe that the worst thieves in the world today and the worst terrorists are the Americans. Nothing could stop you except perhaps retaliation in kind. We do not have to differentiate between military or civilian. As far as we are concerned, they are all targets."

Though novel for its open endorsement of indiscriminate killing, Bin Ladin's 1998 declaration was only the latest in the long series of his public and private calls since 1992 that singled out the United States for attack.


In August 1996, Bin Ladin had issued his own self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia. The long, disjointed document condemned the Saudi monarchy for allowing the presence of an army of infidels in a land with the sites most sacred to Islam, and celebrated recent suicide bombings of American military facilities in the Kingdom. It praised the 1983 suicide bombing in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines, the 1992 bombing in Aden, and especially the 1993 firefight in Somalia after which the United States "left the area carrying disappointment, humiliation, defeat and your dead with you.

Bin Ladin said in his ABC interview that he and his followers had been preparing in Somalia for another long struggle, like that against the Soviets in Afghanistan, but "the United States rushed out of Somalia in shame and disgrace." Citing the Soviet army's withdrawal from Afghanistan as proof that a ragged army of dedicated Muslims could overcome a superpower, he told the interviewer: "We are certain that we shall-with the grace of Allah-prevail over the Americans." He went on to warn that "If the present injustice continues . . . , it will inevitably move the battle to American soil.

Plans to attack the United States were developed with unwavering single-mindedness throughout the 1990s. Bin Ladin saw himself as called "to follow in the footsteps of the Messenger and to communicate his message to all nations," and to serve as the rallying point and organizer of a new kind of war to destroy America and bring the world to Islam.

According to KSM, he started to think about attacking the United States after Yousef returned to Pakistan following the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Like Yousef, KSM reasoned he could best influence U.S. policy by targeting the country's economy. KSM and Yousef reportedly brainstormed together about what drove the U.S. economy. New York, which KSM considered the economic capital of the United States, therefore became the primary target. For similar reasons, California also became a target for KSM.32

KSM claims that the earlier bombing of the World Trade Center taught him that bombs and explosives could be problematic, and that he needed to graduate to a more novel form of attack. He maintains that he and Yousef began thinking about using aircraft as weapons while working on the Manila air/Bojinka plot, and speculated about striking the World Trade Center and CIA headquarters as early as 1995
KSM has insisted to his interrogators that he always contemplated hijacking and crashing large commercial aircraft. Indeed, KSM describes a grandiose original plan: a total of ten aircraft to be hijacked, nine of which would crash into targets on both coasts-they included those eventually hit on September 11 plus CIA and FBI headquarters, nuclear power plants, and the tallest buildings in California and the state of Washington. KSM himself was to land the tenth plane at a U.S. airport and, after killing all adult male passengers on board and alerting the media, deliver a speech excoriating U.S. support for Israel, the Philippines, and repressive governments in the Arab world. Beyond KSM's rationalizations about targeting the U.S. economy, this vision gives a better glimpse of his true ambitions. This is theater, a spectacle of destruction with KSM as the self-cast star-the superterrorist

KSM concedes that this proposal received a lukewarm response from al Qaeda leaders skeptical of its scale and complexity. Although Bin Ladin listened to KSM's proposal, he was not convinced that it was practical. As mentioned earlier, Bin Ladin was receiving numerous ideas for potential operations- KSM's proposal to attack U.S. targets with commercial airplanes was only one of many.


Bin Ladin summoned KSM to Kandahar in March or April 1999 to tell him that al Qaeda would support his proposal. The plot was now referred to within al Qaeda as the "planes operation

According to the English translation distributed by the BBC and other media outlets, he tells viewers he personally directed the 19 hijackers, and describes his motivation:
I will explain to you the reasons behind these events, and I will tell you the truth about the moments when this decision was taken, so that you can reflect on it. God knows that the plan of striking the towers had not occurred to us, but the idea came to me when things went just too far with the American-Israeli alliance's oppression and atrocities against our people in Palestine and Lebanon.
Bin Laden claimed he was inspired to destroy the World Trade Center after watching the destruction of towers in Lebanon by Israel during the 1982 Lebanon War

Alright, you want a response to the murdered pilot. I believe the hijackers had clearance. I believe they had bombs strapped to their chests. Not fuckin box cutters. The idea that men with box cutters over powered people with military clearance is a bunch of bullshit. That’s why we saw such huge explosions.

The Sunshine Law is transparency in government dealings, Open Meetings laws and requirement of full disclosure, in order to prevent corruption. The Freedom of Information Act is a federal freedom of information Law that allows the American people access to information and documents controlled by the United States government.

Damn, you fascists truly believe in the secrecy of the government. You and the government want so badly to suppress the evidence. You are willing to fight for the government to keep those tapes out of the hands of the American people.

The founding fathers made sure this country belongs to the people who inhabit it. America’s resources, its businesses, its institutions of government belong to the people, of the people, by the people and for the people and all the power was given to the people who inhabit this country. The first three words of the United States constitution says, “We the People!” I need a law…

1. You believe the hijackers had clearance -- what kind of clearance and from whom? And with regard to bombs being strapped to their chest, isn't it equally as plausible (if not more) that the giant explosions people saw were the combustible fuel and impact damage? Or are you advocating that the hijackers blew themselves up at the exact same moment that they slammed into their targets and not a moment beforehand? If that is what you are saying, wouldn't that require a huge level of sophistication and fly in the face of all the failed attempts by radical Islamists where they blow themselves up before they get to their target?

2. Are you taking into consideration the fact that hijacked planes had never been used as weapons before 9/11? In fact, all hijackings that I am aware of prior to that resulted in demands that the plane land and negotiations begin. Isn't it just as plausible that the military people figured that to be the case and didn't put up any resistance for that reason?

3. I'm a lawyer but I don't think any of what I've been talking with you about is fascist. I don't see why you feel the need to call anyone who disagrees with you a fascist? Can't you objectively examine their opinions as well and understand reasonable minds can disagree and it doesn't mean one of the two is a fascist and the other is a hippie conspiracy theorist?
