Before the guy pulled in, I didn't have a plan on just giving them to anyone. If I really didn't want them and no one else was around, I certainly wouldn't have just left them on the ledge near the garbage by the vacuum for anyone to have. I would have taken them with me.
To even contemplate leaving them in such a ledge, despite the fact you wouldn't have left them there, shows how little value they were to you.
