Maybe you guys can help me. I need just wireless internet that I can use anywhere. I sell several types of insurance and if I am at a bushiness or somebody's home I need to pull quotes fast. This is something new to me because I always worked out of an office. Would a Tablet work or better off with a laptop.
Thanks in advance.
Phone with 4G LTE is by far the quickest loading you can get. It's FASTER than wireless. I promise you that.
I don't even use my wireless connection anymore. It's too slow.
Pull it from your pocket and run the quote. Iphone5 is the best for this.
Honestly, laptops are turning into a joke. They are becoming obsolete and companies are not investing in their technology because of it.
The problem: You need to get used to the screen keyboard. If you can, get the 4th Generation Ipad.
I sound like a shill for Apple. I actually hate the company itself.
But its phones and ipads are so far ahead of everything else, I make sure I tell people about it because it's not a cheap purchase.

Bigger screen. I thought it didn't matter but it makes a huge difference for apps and surfing web. On the iphone you basically have to use covers mobile, but with ipad u can easily use regular website.

Tablet all the way. Smartphone would work as well. See timbaland99's post. I have no use for the data plan, as I really don't need the iPad outside of my house. Kursh, you don't want a clunky, heavy laptop. Check your local Craigslist for an iPad. You might get lucky. Just be careful. If money is not an issue, you purchase from a store and if its not for you, just return it.
Hey thanks so much. All this new tech snuck on me I suppose. F*ck I am 51 years old and feel like a caveman.

I just got into this crap a few years ago. I felt like a retard not knowing about some of the basic computer stuff my 12 year old knows. If you have any more questions just feel free to ask. You should get some straight up answers in here. Definitely look into the iPad though.

Well if you won, get 4G LTE with a monthly subscription with AT&T or Verizon unless you are using it wirelessly ONLY.
Do not get JUST 4G for that service. It is TOO SLOW.
If it is just a regular Ipad 2, you may only be able to get 4G.
The mini has 4G LTE capability.
That is very important. It will dictate whether you want to use the thing or not. It's loading times are notorious for being slow unless you have 4G LTE. That is fast with a major carrier.
If you are just using it for wireless, ignore all the above. (which it sounds like because you are trying to save money)
This is correct. I mainly got it for easy internet access (games as well....although to a lesser extent). Laptop can be a pain in the a$$ at times.
Ended up paying $305 for a used Ipad 2. Don't think I scored a deal, but don't think I got ripped off either.

I just have the 16. I only use it for Internet. If you need movies and play a lot of games then I would go bigger. To just look at porn, cause that's what you probably want it for, then you'll be good with the 16gb Chief.
