 That's about it really...........I started looking around here about 2002 when looking for a site that had some stats & info. I only know 2 people that are serious about 'capping..............the rest are just clueless about it even though they're sports fans. This place gave me a chance to trade ideas & ask questions when there was no where else for me to go. It didn't take long before I realized I had stumbled onto a gold mine of degenerativeness (new word on Covers) & that I felt at home here.

 I would've joined sooner but it was slow going on dial-up back then.......

Covers may have declined to a degree with the anti cussing/can't post links anymore. But I don't care what anyone says, I still get a great deal of entertainment from this site. I always check out the GD forum (probably more than any other) during football and baseball season I hit those respected forums to see what a couple guys have to say for that day (thank god baseball is about to start ) I don't bet basketball. There are also a few gems in the Las Vegas forum and I frequent the Movies and Television forum sometimes too and the Food and Fitness forum as well but that place is a ghost town. But the General Discussion forum is the absolute best---the ridiculous banter that some guys get into and the insane pissing contests they have is world class entertainment. Every once in a while someone starts an insightful thread about something that sparks my interest. But another poster said it before me, Covers is like a barber shop...everyone just comes in here and bullshits but never actually does anything. Which I think is good from time to time. Takes my mind away from reality. Also, nothing beats getting some advice from a fellow degenerate 

Not to mention I think there are a number of stand up guys on this site that I respect and that I wouldn't mind hanging out with/shooting the sh*t with. BOL guys and and I'm looking forward to the never ending party and some solid advice/info from time to time  Here's to picking winners

Regardless of that useless moronic drivel you posted. I come here to look at the masses who post and fade them. Salty you may just be a good person with serious mental issues. They have medicine to help level you off. Seek some help. Then JUST MAYBE your blog or posts will make enough sense to read.

I enjoy coming on here and sharing my knowledge mostly in NASCAR which I havent had a losing year since 07 and u can watch my picks every week if u want to make some $   I try staying out of the mainstream forums as there r a bunch of idiots and people with nothing better to do then bash others!!

i used to check once in a while to see if that jack behind dlthirtysix ever posted anything different then his normal dull shtick but gave up on that long ago holy friggin groundhog day batman

oddly enough, the most useful information ive taken away from this site is nutritional lol. go figure. thanks to clubdirt and sharpaction for turning me on to some alternative info, i took it and ran

I come to covers chasing a dream; $100,000 in Survivor.  On a more realistic level, I'm also successfully executing a system steeped in regression to the mean, and a bell curve, for profit.    I did get a hat from Survivor!, the contest is still the best free offer on the net!!!

Salty,u are very entertaining and we think a lot alike..That post u posted about the temp job was truly one of the most hysterical posts Ive ever read.Loved the internet dating posts...I mean what a great read.I come to this part looking for your posts.I come to Covers to get information,other people s views on games,but for the most I pick most of my games myself.I dont know why some guys are so miserable they have to rip people.Dont get me wrong there are times when I unload on some of these folks.I sometimes spend hours a day on this site then go months without even logging on.As far as a sports bettor I freaking love it,but emotionally I just cant do it year round because its just mentally exhausting..There are some real fool that cant stand for someone to be liked by numerous folks.Peace and good luck man.

Over the last month I have really gotten myself into some sh'it

I literally have had no time to myself to write because always something going on or nosey MF's bugging me if I get on my laptop.

Plus my conscience wont aloow me to rip on the ones I've been around because they have been helping me. Plus they know about my Salty Jones deal. I sent that internet dating part two story to the chic it involved. 

She was kinda mad cause implied she was a wh'ore but I'm over two hours away and she still sends me texts.

I just did something pretty out there a few days ago that I think I am gonna try and write up tonight. I walked 15.5 miles to a casino here and only gained an order of french fries and a coke

  Hey Salty, I enjoy reading your Blogs and at times I see a little of myself in your writings, don't know if that's good or bad and I don't care, like you say "you gotta laugh at yourself"
  Why do I come to Covers? Because I'm a degen like the rest of us and I'm always looking for that angel on the game. I been to those other sites and even with this censorship we been having here I feel this is still the better, more knowledgable and entertaining site of the bunch. Are there Posters that I respect? Yes! Are there posters that I think are Idiots? Yes! Do I show respect to the ones I like? Yes of course! Do I bash the idiots? Nah, I couldn't bother wasting my time on them. During my time here I feel I have met some great Cappers and developed a good rapport and friendship with some.
  Covers is one of my main go-to sites for all the degen info that I need.
    I like the Contests too, won a hundred bucks here last NFL season (week ten I think it was) but I'm trying for and want one of those coveted Covers Hats and I'm not giving up!
