Vokoun lost his job to two different goalies, both kids and that is pretty hard to do lol. If he had of been in net these playoffs the Caps would have been long gone before the Flyers so what is your point? What Claude said to you still rings true. Vokoun was a 100% fail for Washington and will propbably be looking for a new job next year so maybe Philly can still have him if they want lol. Why would the Caps keep him over Holtby and Neuvirth? They are both better and younger and both now have more playoff experience than the hapless Vokoun.
I do not like Bryzgalovs lazy attitude but he played incredible in net long enough in the season to get a young, new team into the playoffs comfortably and he did it, playing behind a wide open team, that played little defense and a terrible beat up defense missing 3 of it's top defensemen come playoff time.
Vokoun was a failure behind one of the tightest defensive systems in the NHL, and most likely played himself right out of a job.
To a good Alberta boy though, the only canada goalies that rival the frenchies.
