Statitically sleep apnea is a leading silent killer.Keep a pillow beneath your neck to keep your airway open (sleeping on your back) until you can get in to see a sleep specialist.
Dr Ralph Pasquali (sp) is the the best in the country literally. Located in Seattle. Good referal might come out of that office if you're not on the West coast.
Take care.![]()

Obesity. Hereditary, booze, weed, scrips - ENT problems etc. Been through this with a good friend every step at J Memorial Miami. There's a surgical procedure that's available as well that your Dr might spot.

The lab sleep test is a fuckin ripoff - they plaster you with EKG stickers and all sorts of other crap. Doctors order it and it costs a fortune for a massive bill. If you're a tempermental sleeper then tell him no. ![]()
Have your woman video tape you sleeping for 30 minutes with audiio an video.

See an ENT specialist
I had the surgery done. Most painful thing I had done. They take out your tonsils, uvula (looks like a little punching bag hanging in your mouth) and part of your soft palate (back of the roof of your mouth). This opens up more air flow while you are sleeping.
It was painful but the surgery did work..GL ![]()

I have one in Toronto at the end of this month.
Prescribed by a neurologist after a heart incident.
I'll fill you in on it. It seems a little
to me, but whatever . . .

Years ago - I snored super loud in bed at night - during the day I was exhausted and was fighting falling asleep here and there during the day. I ended up doing a sleep study - the first time/night they hooked me up to a bunch of monitors, etc ( no big deal ) - they videotaped and monitored me the entire night. After that night they told me I had a bunch of " apnea episodes " through the night. They said I def. had a problem. The oxygen in your brain shuts off - it can cause a heart attack or even death - serious stuff.
So - I went back for another sleep study - this time I wore a mask / used a cpap machine - and I had a great night of sleep - even in the medical center I was at for the test.
I ended up getting a c-pap machine - and it has improved my sleeping 100% - plus I dont snore anymore. Ive had the machine now for about 10 years now.
Sleep Apnea is no joke - get that study done asap - get on the machine - you have all the classic signs.
FYI - Reggie White HOF DE for the Eagles ( RIP ) - he had sleep apnea - it killed him one night - I believe he was only 45 or something. serious stuff.
good luck man.
