As Floyd Mayweather Jr. is prepping for his fight against Miguel Cotto on May 5th, Manny Pacquiao is dealing with another low blow that came in form of a bizarre lawsuit. While trying to do some good through the Manny Pacquiao Foundation by shipping some “relief goods” from the United States to the Philippines using an unnamed logistics company in 2009, the boxer now finds himself tied in a court battle for almost $36,000 since used clothes do not qualify as “relief goods” under the country laws. This has dealt yet another blow to Pacquiao’s image and will probably result in making a super mega fight between him and Mayweather that much more difficult to make a reality.

Mayweather as always has remained his arrogant self in the time coming before his fight. His HBO 24/7 special is set to air on April 14th to let fans in on the action that takes place behind the scenes in a professional boxer’s world prior to a bout. Cotto is of course featured on the show as well and it is in a way built like a promotional reality show to boost the Pay Per View purchases of the fight which will take place on May 5th in Las Vegas. There will be a 2nd episode airing on April 21st at 10:30pm ET on HBO titled “Floyd Mayweather: Speaking Out” with even more suspense building up before the fight.

One thing that people seem to forget about Mayweather is that as much as he is “hated” and creates an arrogant and cocky image of himself to the public eye, he is one of the most genius fighters of his generation. We can go to the numbers for proof; the man has a career punch landing percentage of 45% which is topped only by Lennox Louis and one other. Even though not the all-time best in this category he is only beat in it

Whether you like him or hate him as a person, you must be able to overlook all of the ignorance thrown into Mayweather’s way and admit that the man if not the best is one of the best to ever step into the ring. With this I must say Cotto has a steep uphill battle ahead of him in the May 5th bout and given Mayweather wins, the only thing anyone will want to see in boxing is the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao mega fight that with every day seems more impossible to happen.

Embarrassing ploy to attract customers

Just don't win anything more than $5 on the fight you don't want this horrific joke of a book shutting you down.. one of the worst rated sportsbooks in the world.. for good reason..

Sportsbook.com Group steals $5,677 from player
The player held accounts at Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-), Sportsbooks.com (SBR rating D-), Sportfanatik (SBR rating D-), and playersonly (SBR rating D-). He was debited for the amounts won over the life of the account totaling $5,677. Sportsbook.com cites "bonus abuse" as the reason for stealing these funds. The Sportsbook.com operation often labels players who have won money and utilized promotions in more than one of the many sister sportsbooks as bonus abusers. Sportsbook.com and sister Jazette books do not have rules against using multiple brands and using their promotions.

will mayweather stay undefeated,, NO,  he will brutalize cotto,  then do the same to manny, then retire saying that he has nothing left to prove, but floyd spends money with the best of them and after a few years he will return for financial reasons and that is when he is most likely to lose, just as every great fighter in the past did when in the same situation, their has only ever been a couple of truly great fighters who have retired undefeated, ricardo lopez, rocky marciano  and you could throw laszlo papp in their as well,   history is against floyd when it comes to this and I would bet that we will eventually see his 0 go, officially that is.  (I say officially because of the first castillo fight in which he clearly lost, but got a bullshit dec.) floyd will lose when he is in his late 30's to some young and hungry fighter, when floyd is a shell of his former self.  it happens to them all, it will happen to floyd as well.

paul spadafora has a good shot at retiring undefeated as well and even though he is one of my favorite fighters of all time, I would not call him a great fighter, simply a very good one.

I have no idea why so many people believe in keep duckin floyd. People actually think that a man that sweats, stutters, and swallows when he talks about pacman can actually beat a man that has no fear?
