The Los Angeles Dodgers have taken the first three games against the Milwaukee Brewers, allowing just three runs along the way.

With a star-studded, in-form offense — and Shohei Ohtani on the mound — the circumstances are favorable for the Dodgers to complete the sweep Friday night.

That’s why my Brewers vs. Dodgers props and MLB picks lean heavily towards the Dodgers in Game 4.

Brewers vs Dodgers player prop picks

Prop #1: Shohei Ohtani Under 1.5 earned runs allowed

-130 at Caesars

Shohei Ohtani has allowed just four earned runs over his past five starts dating back to the regular season. That’s a pretty impressive feat considering three of them were against teams that played in the postseason (Cincinnati, Philadelphia twice).

He’ll face a struggling Brewers offense that hasn’t gotten anything going in this series, scoring just three runs over three games.

The Dodgers will be looking to close this out sooner than later, and avoid giving the Brewers any life, so Ohtani could get a quicker pull than normal — especially with such a rested bullpen behind him.

Roki Sasaki (13 pitches) is the only Dodgers reliever who threw more than 10 pitches yesterday, and they were off on Wednesday. There should be a full stable of arms ready, leaving no reason to keep Ohtani on the mound if he runs into any trouble.

Prop #2: Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI

-140 at Caesars

Freddie Freeman hit .295 during the regular season and was remarkably productive against pitchers of each handedness. He is not someone who can be schemed out of the game with good bullpen management.

He did not record a hit on Thursday but has not gone back-to-back games without one since August.

If he can get back in the hit column Friday night, he has a great chance of cashing in a runner — or scoring himself — given the plethora of star bats surrounding him in the order.

Prop #3: William Contreras Over 0.5 singles

+105 at Caesars

While Ohtani did a great job of limiting power, right-handed bats still managed a solid .265 average against him.

William Contreras is a righty who was much more productive against right-handed pitching. The splits are favorable for him in this matchup.

Nearly 70% of his hits this season went for just one base. Given the Brewers are playing for their season, and Ohtani neuters power so effectively, I don’t think Contreras will be trying to do too much. Expect him to take what he can get.
