2013 Kentucky Derby: Orb cashes at 6/1

It was a late surge down the stretch on a muddied track that propelled Orb to victory at the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby Saturday.

A 6/1 co-favorite with Revulotionary, Orb overtook Normandy Invasion on the outside to win the race at Churchill Downs with an unoffical time of 2:02:89.

32/1 Golden Soul finished second and Revolutionary finished third.

Normandy Invasion looked in good position before Orb made a late push and posted the victory.

Orb paid $12.80 to win, $7.40 to place and $5.40 to show.

Golden Soul paid $38.60 and $19.40. Revolutionary paid $5.40.

The 16-4 exacta paid $981.60, and the 16-4-3 trifecta paid $3,462.80.

The 16-4-3-5 superfecta paid $28,542.00, on just a $1 bet.
