Miami Heat no longer favorites to win NBA title

For the first time all season, the Miami Heat are not the favorites to win the NBA Championship.

Miami’s 94-75 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal Thursday put the Heat behind 2-1 to the Pacers and dropped them from +175 to +325 to win the NBA title.

Also prompting the move was the San Antonio Spurs’ 105-88 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers – the Spurs’ sixth straight postseason win and 16th consecutive victory overall. San Antonio has a 2-0 lead over Los Angeles in their Western Conference semifinal and is now a +190 favorite to win the NBA title.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are priced at +240 to win the championship after taking a 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Lakers in their second-round series.

The Boston Celtics are set at +800, the Pacers are +1,300, the Lakers are +3,300, the Philadelphia 76ers are +5,000, and the Clippers are priced at +150,000.

Miami is still set at -125 to beat Indiana (+105) in their second-round series and is a +125 favorite to win the Eastern Conference crown.
