Houston has lost three in a row after winning five straight. But it was a very tough 3-game road trip for the Rockets having to visit Oklahoma City, Chicago and Miami. I played against them yesterday as they lost on South Beach, but this is a time where you'll want to be Kevin McHale's team.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Jazz Not Playing Well - Utah has lost four in a row. They've also lost eight of nine, the lone win coming against the worst team in the league, Philadelphia. The Jazz too played on Sunday and lost to San Antonio 122-104. That dropped them to the worst record in the Western Conference this year at 22-45. They were outscored in every quarter yesterday by the Spurs, who shot an insane 62.5 percent for the game.
2. Revenge - Somehow, Houston lost to Utah earlier in the year, 109-103 as 7.5-point favorites. But that game was also on the road. They did win in Utah back in November. Utah is not a good road team with an 8-26 record.
3. X-Factor - At three games, this is Houston's longest losing streak of the season. They should have no problem bouncing back.
