The Las Vegas Aces suffered the second-largest blowout in WNBA history when they got blitzed at home by the Minnesota Lynx 111-58 on Saturday. Can they get back on track with a win over the visiting Golden State Valkyries on Sunday?

My Valkyries vs. Aces predictions and WNBA picks expect the Valkyries to keep it close in the desert while A’ja Wilson bounces back from a dud in Saturday’s loss.

Valkyries vs Aces predictions

My Valkyries vs Aces best bet: Valkyries +8 (-105 at bet365)

This Las Vegas Aces season has been truly unpredictable. Filled with occasional highs and plenty of lows, the Aces have put together a roller coaster run in 2025. Fresh off a historic 53-point blowout loss to the Lynx on Saturday, the Aces will surely be better on Sunday — but I’m not counting on them covering this head-scratchingly lofty spread.

The Aces are just 11-17 ATS this season, and the team’s biggest struggle has been consistency. They’ve limped to a 14-14 record, and coming off a monstrous home loss on Saturday, they’ll be hard-pressed to flip the script in such drastic fashion on the second leg of a back-to-back set.

In two matchups with the Golden State Valkyries this season, the Aces have won and lost a game apiece, but Golden State has covered both times. The Aces won back-to-back games against the lowly Sparks and Wings before Saturday’s disastrous defeat, while Golden State has won and covered in three straight.

The Valkyries have played competitively all season, while the Aces have failed to find any sort of rhythm. I’ll take the visitors to cover.

Valkyries vs Aces same-game parlay (SGP)

Valkyries +8

A'ja Wilson Over 35.5 points + rebounds + assists

Veronica Burton Over 5.5 assists

A'ja Wilson posted just 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists on Saturday, and I fully expect her to bounce back on Sunday. The three-time MVP is too talented and too driven to finish with poor numbers in back-to-back contests. In seven games before her dud, she cashed this Over four times while averaging 39.4 PRA. In her lone home matchup with the V’s, Wilson posted a monstrous 34/16/4 line.

Veronica Burton is averaging a career-best 5.3 assists per game this season, and she’s dished 6+ dimes in 11 of 27 appearances. She’s reached that mark in each of her last two games, both on the road.

In two matchups with the Aces, Burton has handed out 12 and eight assists, and she’s in a favorable position to do so again tonight. Playing heavy minutes and facing a below-average Aces defense, expect Burton to facilitate at a high level.
