After a stunning loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Monday, the Chicago Sky will regroup and look to get back in the win column when they host the Los Angeles Sparks as 3.5-point favorites.
Kamilla Cardoso has been stellar with Azura Stevens sidelined, and with Stevens out again tonight, my Sparks vs. Sky predictions expect the former to show out.

Sparks vs Sky best bet: Kamilla Cardoso Over 26.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115)
Kamilla Cardoso is averaging 26.6 PRA in front of the home crowd. After four straight road games, she’s back in Chicago, where I expect her to clear 27 PRA, as she did in her last home matchup with the Los Angeles Sparks.
Cardoso has been particularly effective with Azura Stevens out, averaging 24.5 PRA alongside Stevens and 28.2 without her. Cardoso has gone for 27+ PRA in five of eight games without Stevens.
The Sparks have allowed the most points, third-most rebounds and third-most PITP, giving Cardoso a favorable matchup.
I’ll play this to 29.5.
COVERS INTEL: Over the last three games, Cardoso is one of only four players who’s averaged a double-double. In those games (all played without Azura Stevens), Cardoso has averaged 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists, good for 29.7 PRA.
Sparks vs Sky same-game parlay
Courtney Vandersloot is averaging just 4.9 assists per game this season, but she’s reaching those numbers in 19.5 minutes per game.
She’s seen 20+ minutes in five straight, averaging 6.2 dimes. The potential absence of Sydney Taylor could lead to additional touches, making this playable to 7.5.
Neither team is particularly great on offense, but both rank in the Top 3 in pace and FGA. L.A.’s defense is one of the worst in the W, and Chicago’s is middle-of-the-pack.
There should be plenty of points to go around. Play to 188.5.
