The New York Liberty hit the road this afternoon for an important Eastern Conference matchup with the Atlanta Dream at Gateway Center Arena.

Natasha Cloud has been scoring the rock at a high level lately, and as my Liberty vs. Dream predictions will explain, I expect that trend to continue.

Liberty vs Dream predictions

My Liberty vs Dream best bet: Natasha Cloud Over 9.5 points (-125 at Bet99)

Natasha Cloud came over to the New York Liberty in the offseason after spending last year with the Phoenix Mercury, and she’s been a great addition to this New York squad with title aspirations.

While the 33-year-old may not be the primary ball-handler on this roster, she’s still an important piece on a nightly basis.

The Saint Joseph's product is averaging 10.1 points, 5.4 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per contest, starting all 35 games she’s played in.

Cloud has cashed the Over in points in seven of her last eight outings, and also in three in a row. She dropped 14 points in a loss to Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Thursday evening.

Sabrina Ionescu is questionable to suit up today due to a foot injury that she sustained versus Chicago.

That’s, of course, Cloud’s backcourt mate, and if she doesn’t play, it will mean a higher usage for Cloud to score the basketball.

Liberty vs Dream same-game parlay (SGP)

Natasha Cloud Over 9.5 points

Allisha Gray Over 18.5 points

Rhyne Howard Under 2.5 three-pointers

The Atlanta Dream have a very impressive core, with all five starters averaging at least 10.3 ppg. Allisha Gray leads the way with 18.8 points per night, and she just dropped 27 on the Minnesota Lynx earlier this week.

Gray has only cashed the Over in points in two of her last five appearances, but she’s averaging 20 ppg in nine appearances in August, and also scores 18.9 points per contest on her home floor.

We shift over to Atlanta’s second-best player, Rhyne Howard. She’s a very high volume three-point shooter, draining 2.9 per game on 9.4 attempts for a 30.5% clip.

Howard has hit the Under in triples made in two of her last four, and she doesn’t shoot it at as well at home.

In 12 contests this season at Gateway Center Arena, Howard has averaged just 2.2 makes per game for a 25% clip. She’s also struggled to get hot from deep against New York in 2025, averaging one made three per contest across two meetings.
