My Fever vs Dream best bet: Under 155.5 (-110 at bet365)
The point totals in this series are 148 and 137 in Games 1 and 2, respectively. I’ll bet the Under for a third straight contest in what should be a tightly contested elimination game.
The Indiana Fever played to the Under in five of their last six regular-season games, while the Atlanta Dream went Under in four of their last eight.
Indiana’s defense was middle-of-the-pack, allowing the eighth-most points per game at 81.5. Atlanta’s defense, on the other hand, has been far better.
The Dream allowed the third-fewest at 76.8, and over the last 10 outings, Atlanta has tightened its defense even more, allowing the fewest ppg at a paltry 73.8.
I’m not a fan of betting the spread here as Indiana has shown a ton of resolve and played competitive basketball even when it wasn’t expected to compete.
Instead, I’m far more comfortable betting the point total. Games slow down and physicality increases in the playoffs, and I’m not betting on increased scoring numbers in a winner-takes-all Game 3.

Kelsey Mitchell enjoyed the best scoring average of her career with 20.2 points per game. In six matchups with the Dream this season, she averaged 18.3 points on the road and 22.7 at home, hitting the Over only once at Atlanta.
I’m expecting a low-scoring game and a Dream victory, which means the home team will contain Indiana’s top scorer.
Allisha Gray averaged a career-best 18.4 ppg this season and scored 17 or more in 23 of 42 contests. In the playoffs, she scored 20 points in Game 1 but came crashing down to earth with nine points on 4 of 16 shooting in Game 2.
In six matchups against the Fever this season, she averaged 18 points at home and 10.3 on the road, scoring at least 17 in two of three at Gateway Center. Expect a better showing in tonight’s closeout contest.
