UFC Fight Night odds for the main event
Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad
Leon Edwards comes into this match on an eight-fight winning streak but hasn't entered the octagon in 20 months since a unanimous decision victory over Rafael dos Anjos. Despite his inactivity, he is still the No. 3 ranked welterweight contender and is hunting for a title shot against Kamaru Usman – the last man to beat him.
Edwards is a very well-rounded fighter who combines good kickboxing with solid wrestling technique and excellent clinch-work.
The UFC had been trying to pit Edwards against rising welterweight Khamzat Chimaev, but after three cancellations, they have finally moved on with Belal "Remember the Name" Muhammad stepping in to take the fight on short notice.
Muhammad is No. 13 in the welterweight division and is fresh off a unanimous decision win against Dhiego Lima in February, so he's already in fighting shape. Muhammad is 18-3 in his career and has four wins in a row. The 32-year-old is an excellent wrestler who prefers to take the fight to the ground.
